War in Ukraine

Whose minds they are trying to change? You mean who are they trying to brainwash right?

Like the fake Russian Collusion narrative they pushed and their followers parroted for years. Along with the false smears against Brett Kavanaugh, Nicholas Sandman, and Kyle Rittenhouse. The protests in 2020 being "mostly peaceful". Antifa is just an idea. Which many people also parroted. Would you like me to continue? I would be glad to.

Then of course your media heroes like Chris Cuomo and Matt Lauer get fired for good reason.

What I'm saying often doesn't match the echo chamber and lack of critical thinking skills of many in this thread. So you guys and gals turn into a bunch of drama queens.
You really believe that everyone who disagrees with you is some CNN watching gay supporting child molesting liberal. It’s really scary that your dogma and ignorance blinds you to reality

Rosatom isn’t “investing” jack right now outside of their arctic oil extraction because they don’t have the resources. They WERE wooing suitors which have dried up… just like the technical support for their Arctic drilling which they are trying to execute today not “planning”. And that execution is dead in the water just like all their military campaigns to date.

And again Russia is at the bottom of the top 5 list of wheat producers. China is more than double their output. If anything China will see a boon in wheat exports while Russia wheat rots in the field or in silos.

All of this is gone like a fart on the wind and won’t be coming back anytime soon. Your Mother Russia has many dark years ahead and they are completely self inflicted.
China's wheat imports are 10X their exports, and they're looking at a poor crop this year. They eat their production. Russia was the world's top exporter of wheat pre-2022.

Well Russian wheat isn’t going to be available for export this year it seems now is it. But yeah while China does produce considerably more at least this far it isn’t exported.

Edit: actually no I take that back. It clearly is headed to China then.

I don’t think enough people appreciate how close we are to greater escalation. I feel bad for the Ukrainians but I don’t have any desire to go die on foreign soil

It is a concern. No one trusts Putin to not go nuclear out of desperation. This hasn’t gone as planned for him. I have to think with the agents and inner circle people he has canned so far, there HAS to be some back channel communication between us and Russian counterparts that help us keep a finger on the pulse. Could be totally wrong. We would be complete fools to put boots on the ground there.

If it escalates it will be because either unconventional weapons were used or because Russia broadens the conflict in the region.

Hopefully someone in Russia would take care of business if it appears he is going to go totally off the rails.

I think Putin wanted to expand Russia's borders like one of the great Czars so the Russian people would celebrate him for generations to come. I don't think he wants to be known as the leader that sent Russia back to the stone age. I think there are some lines he won't cross.

Only $50 billion? That giant sucking sound is going to get a lot louder. I’m thinking x10 eventually.
Given all the pork barrel spending that has gone on for decades, NATO/G7/EU waging a proxy war that will absolutely cripple Russia seems like a bargain.

Hitler * Stalin * Putin

His name and legacy are on the verge of being etched in stone with the other two. It may depend on how he extracts himself from this quagmire he fell into.
