That's always the problem when things are directed rather than letting commanders in the field lead. Russian commanders couldn't lead because they weren't allowed and wouldn't lead because they and families would suffer the consequences of failures, do it's probably safe to assume the Russian military still has few decent leaders because of the Soviet years and now Putin. We are falling into the same trap because of the DC power structure and their hands on every little thing.
Brother, The "commanders" are non existant. The ones back home are under house arrest, and the ones in the field are dead. I keep telling you guys how "organized" the Ukrainians are. It's really incredible. It's who they are. They have built their whole culture around Russia invading and knew exactly what to do. One of the most brilliant things they did, and do, is identify the biggest kid in the school yard and take him out first. It seems to be objective one.
