Ehh. Playing in Knoxville but not LNS. Playing with wooden bats. Weekday game where you might have a pitcher go three innings. Shoulda coulda woulda, and all that, but... frankly I'm sort of glad to lose because I'd rather just go beat Bama like a drum and not have a streak rolling around in the back of our heads. Maybe not *glad* to lose, but, you know. Silver lining.

I think you have to give the pitcher his due. The ump was calling the high strike, so the ball was coming out of his hand high and dropping. Batters aren’t going to swing at those. The pitches initially in the zone were swung at and dropping, and they were great pitches.

Horrible example...they play 150+ games a year.

1/3 is a fraction or percentage. It doesn’t matter how many games you play. 1/3 is 1/3.

College baseball powers lose midweek games to mid majors all the time. I know that won’t stop the newbie baseball fans who just hopped on board last year or this year from blowing this out of proportion, but those who understand college baseball know that this game is pretty inconsequential.
