Well, I'm a newbie bandwagon fan, cause I got on the Vitello baseVol train last March or so. So, I guess I should resemble that remark. But I understand they only 'supported' Tony because they never thought he would build a better program than theirs. And no one who's four games back after 12 warrants a fleeting thought, much less "lives in my mind."
I have been a Tennessee Baseball fan as far back as early Delmonico and a Tony Vitello fan when Currie announced the hire and Tony said he would make us all proud and he has year by year!!!!

Not sure why Tennessee Tech would agree to wood bats against what Blade Tidwell and the bullpen.
They are a good offensive teams and they took away several possible hits

The number 1 team in the country....playing in a AA park.....throwback uniforms.....wood bats.

Seems like that would make for good regular tv.... but call me crazy.

There's probably some women's gymnastics or something that will capture more viewers for ESPN.

They're freaking playing the Auburn Spring Game. I don't understand The SEC Network. I remember when they were first ramping up and they were advertising covering every SEC Sport all the time. They have failed.

Am I the only one that thinks this sort of game would capture some national interest if it were promoted properly?

You would think one school's spring game would be an ideal fit for the SECN+ platform, especially since football is out of season. #1 baseball team in the land would get national attention. Especially, as others have pointed out, the minor league park, wooden bats, etc flavor.

100% yes. Like when they play an outdoor hockey game in an NFL stadium or a college basketball game played on a U.S. Navy aircraft carrier, or even a football game like the Battle at Bristol. Tonight is a special event.

I’ve got a feeling MLB has had a say in college baseball’s coverage and lack thereof.

I don't know why, but I've never thought about that. You may be on to something. One thing MLB hates is competition, now that they are playing games again. Good thinking, Chuck.
