Some of it is out of UT's control. Multi-faceted projects like this have to go through channels, and that takes time. Tony V drew up his vision and UT is working with him to give him what he wants. The bigger delays and obstacles were in his earlier years at UT; it seems to be moving fairly smoothly now, though everyone wishes it could go faster.
Having a school share your vision and build your personal field of dreams is a big incentive to stay. Taking care of his staff and players is important to him, and UT is doing that, too.
You definitely have more experience than I do but I still think some of it is done for attention on social media, embellishment if you will. I think he definitely has some sort mental defect. I just don't think he's all that dangerous. You're not familiar with delusional weirdo freaks like him. I spent a lot of time in psyche wards as a security guard from 2010-2013...I am telling you, that dude has a screw loose, and the more that delusion is stoked, the worse the blowup is going to be.

Wasn't there something about him dating a 15 yr old? Is that considered "harmless" for a 32 yr old man to do?Anyone want to stand by the 'he's totally harmless,' claims with aggravated burglary and reckless endangerment on that sheet? (Endangerment could be from poor driving but together that paints a picture).
If people keep feeding that big shot thuglife delusion he has, then you are wrong...he is dangerous, I have had experience with stupid, deluded, half-cocked losers like him hurting people, or at least trying to...it really concerns me since he has been bragging about getting and carrying a gun around last week. You definitely have more experience than I do but I still think some of it is done for attention on social media, embellishment if you will. There's a way it can be compared to the issues with Nascar. Nascar had to make changes to get new viewership and new generation of fans. Energy, fun, and faster pace is needed for baseball. In both instances, cranky curmudgeons hate the changes.Baseball desperately needs talented teams full of personality like Tennessee showing emotion and lean into playing the heel just a little bit. This is all entertainment after all and the gatekeeping baseball try hard mega nerds push against it. When it could be the best thing for the sport to thrive and grow again.
And those changes absolutely f'd NASCAR....they are nowhere near where they were before they screwed their most loyal fans over...there are about a million articles about it.There's a way it can be compared to the issues with Nascar.
