War in Ukraine

Maybe they are tired of being dictated to by a Country who celebrates tranny story time at the local library?
It's a country that literally has dieties that are trans, with shrines dedicated to them. India is much more accepting of different people in their hierarchical rungs. Except for the highest rungs on the ladder, they respect no one.

Perhaps you should stick to speaking on Russians points of view.

I have quite a few Indian families in my neighborhood. They are quite conservative.

Americans from India are almost always from the highest rung.... The highest in a very hierarchical country. They are not your average indian.

How Kyiv was saved by Ukrainian ingenuity as well as Russian blunders

Stand on the railway embankment near Hostomel and look north-east and the story of Russia’s rout in the Battle of Kyiv comes together.

Three kilometres away you can see the village of Moschun, the site of a big battle and just south of it are the woods where Oleksandr Konoko, a battalion commander, described how, armed with anti-tank weapons, small groups of his men advanced to encircle the Russians.

It was at Moschun, and in the other suburban towns and villages north-west of Kyiv, that after a month the Russian ambition of capturing the Ukrainian capital sank into the area’s boggy wetlands.

The Russian attempt to take Kyiv was defeated by a combination of factors including geography, the attackers’ blundering, Ukrainian ingenuity and modern arms — as well as smartphones: used for the first time in military history as weapons powerful in their own way as rockets and artillery.

Moscow’s forces were thwarted, too, by pieces of foam mat — the Ukrainians call them karemats — costing as little as £1.50. The mats prevent Russian thermal imaging drones from detecting human heat. “We held the karemats over our head”, said Konoko, explaining how his men moved stealthily in tiny groups at night.

In that way soldiers armed with anti-tank weapons supplied by the US, Britain and others could sneak up on the Russians, fire their deadly and accurate missiles and then slip away.

There is no report of Russia using Tochka missiles. Also, the Ukrainians originally said it was an Iskander, not knowing that there would be evidence left behind that would reveal the contrary.

And you can't get more of a staged propaganda set up than someone painting "for the children" on the missile. Easily can be perceived to be an attempt to build up Western outrage.

Russia gains nothing by bombing a train station with evacuating civilians. But the Ukrainians gain a lot in the media war.
A military parade from 2001 showed Russia having plenty of SS-21 (Tochka) missiles.
Also you seem to not realize that Russia, outside for a few folks, even realizes whats going on in Ukraine. Their military command and control structure has been decimated in their "special mission" and more than likely as they retreat they just fire off what missiles they have because they don't have the logistics (fuel) to get the transport back home.

Writing on the missile/bomb is normal in the military. The rare time I had a chance to scribble on something landing on Afghanistan or Iraq I took it..and it was way worse that "for the children".

Evidence of Russia using the missile system right now that they claim they don't use anymore:

OK. So what would that mean to Russia? Does that mean they can't borrow anymore from Western banks?

What does this mean for Western bondholders? What does this mean for derivatives and credit default swaps?
Taking a page from Kentaji Jackson, I am no economist. That being said, Im not afraid to answer this.
A few things can happen when/if Russia defaults. Basically they will ignore their financial obligations to their foreign creditors which will be felt across the world. Thats the immediate impact. The long term impact is that they will now face higher interest rates, lower credit rating, and difficulty securing new loans.

Its the larger more widespread impacting version of someone getting a credit card, maxing it out, and never paying it. You're gonna get sh!t credit, super high interest loans IF you can even get a loan that doesn't require you to turn over the title to your 2001 Honda Civic.

A Ukranian supporter of Russia coming to terms with the reality of the Russian military where she lives. From what I gather from listening to this is she let the Russians take her kids then after witnessing Russians raping children who remained behind, knows what is going to happen to hers.

Or this is just Western propaganda with crisis voice actors...

I don't think he's a moron. I think he's so caught up in what he dislikes about this country that he's thrown the baby out with the bath water. I think he's been duped to believe the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

I think he's a moron. He's undeserving of any further qualifiers.
