You lost me at the ruble as the reserve currency and a Pan-African currency. Africa is far too fractured politically and economically to even begin to conceive of that in the next decade. The ruble is far too prone to inflation for reserve currency status. Do I think China would love to be in that position? Without a doubt
IMO we don't really want Ukraine to win. We want ukraine to drag Russia into a multi decade conflict. We meaning our elected and military officialsI agree and it's why I didn't use the term reserve currency, but petro-ruble which will drive demand for it. We'll see if Putin holds that line and what the outcome is. Also agree that an African petrodollar is a dark horse but the official reasons offered to date for Libya's destruction are not plausible. And you don't wait for the son of the man you slew to become a man.
Zelensky's complaint, essentially, is that he's getting weapons to keep him fighting but not weapons enabling a victory. I agree with that assessment. The question is why not? Our response has made no sense from the outset.
Otherwise, I'm posing those questions for comment or provoke thought. I don't think a federal contractor could gain security clearance with the Biden business dealings in their background, yet he's in the WH. I think likely he is severely compromised. Chaos is the weapon of choice for destroying a society and I think we, and the West generally, are under attack from within.
I don't claim to have the insight to draw conclusions to the questions I posed.

They are in full blown retreat mode. Their original plan was Kyiv in 3 days or bust. They chose bust. What they are doing now is running away back towards the breakaway area to focus around there. They most likely realize they can only make gains near the territory they already had from 2014. Now the rest of the civilized world gets to restock Ukraine...and then some.
It is that simple. Phase 1 was to take Kyiv in 3 days. It failed. Now they go their back up plan which they didn't actually have and its to concentrate on the breakaway area. While they do that Ukraine's gonna get rearmed by The Good Guys.Eh, wish it were that simple and that they were packing up to go home but I don’t think so. I think this was just the end of phase 1, which clearly didn’t go as well as planned.
