Don’t know about you other Worldle folks, but I kept waiting for today’s country to load. Thought I had something on my screen.

There’s an article on espn of an interview with Dabo. When asked about the NIL, he says it’s out of control and only going to hurt the kids. When asked about his salary and other head coaches who make millions, he states that he doesn’t set the market rate and that we live in a capitalistic society and he won’t apologize for his success.
So it’s ok for him to benefit from capitalism but apparently there should be limits on what the kids can make.

A week or two ago I asked for prayers over my brother-in-law’s CT scan. It revealed a contained malignant tumor in the lower part of his colon. We’re thankful for that. Today at 1:30 (cst) he undergoes about a 3-hr surgery to remove about a foot of his sigmoid colon, and they’ll biopsy(?) some lymph nodes to make sure it didn’t spread into areas the CT scan couldn’t pick up. Appreciate if you can lift he and his family up today during that time.
Edit: (for anyone coming across this late like @VolsDoc81TX) he made it out good! He’s recovering, lotta gas they fill you up with in surgery and it’s painful for him tonight. He will wait for a few days to see what the biopsied lymph nodes show.. which will dictate whether he needs chemo/radiation.
Dabo is a snake pos that uses his "aw shucks" persona to get ahead imo. Him being a massive hypocrite about this doesn't surprise me at all tbh. There’s an article on espn of an interview with Dabo. I absolutely hate the taxing here. I have a love-hate relationship with the place, but I absolutely hate the f'd up government here...they are f'n leeches.I think one unintended effect of the tunnel was that anyone that had the means, but still intent on staying in the area, left Middlesboro and moved to Harrogate where the tax burden is much less. TN has the higher sales tax, but all other forms of taxation are significantly cheaper. As a result, many people live and work on the TN side of the tunnel, but go to the stores and restaurants on the KY side. Since the mines have declined, the best jobs for non-college graduates are factories on the TN side as well.
I also think KY has been mismanaged for generations. They seem to always find a way to funnel all resources (even those natural, human, and other resources generated in places like southeastern KY) into the golden triangle of Lexington, Louisville, and Frankfort. There’s probably not a state where the people get taxed more but have less to show for it than KY. On the flip side, TN has enjoyed about 16 straight years of good leadership regardless of party in both Bredeson and Haslam (Lee seems to be doing alright too).
I’m not a huge fan of KY’s current gov, but he seems to be doing alright. His dad just about wrecked the place though when he was gov.
I know some who come to Andersonville TN every day to work. I hope they've found a way to carpool with gas being outrageous.I think one unintended effect of the tunnel was that anyone that had the means, but still intent on staying in the area, left Middlesboro and moved to Harrogate where the tax burden is much less.
