Peyton Bradyized Ole Tom

Sure, they can all claim a ring with each of their teammates. For some reason people feel that all of Brady’s rings are his and his alone. He had a lot of help and there are clearly SBs his teams would have won with or without him.
Lol Who is the greatest QB ever then? Out of curiosity please enlighten me.

Literally no one says Brady is the only QB that wins SBs all by himself

You are missing the point. When people talk about SB winners, most mention the other team as well. Talk about Montana and inevitability will hear Rice, Lott, Clark, Walsh, Craig and Taylor. Mention Aikman, you get Smith, Ervin, Harper, Haley, Sanders, Johnston and the OL.

But not Brady. Brady is the only QB that gets sole credit for the SB wins. It doesn’t matter who the defense or FG kicker did. Doesn’t matter how good his OL performed or Belicheck. It’s ONLY Brady. That’s where you and others fail. Does Tom Brady have 7 rings? Yes. Was it all because of him? No. He was part of a team that won.

Bill Russell has 11 rings in the NBA. Ever hear his name mentioned in the GOAT debate? Nope.

The Bill Russell analogy is just so stupid.

Ah yes and it was clearly due to him right? Let’s examine that SB win shall we. TB defense held the Chiefs (who averaged 30 ppg) to only 9. Then his last SB in NE the defense held the Rams (who averaged 33 ppg) to 3 points. Yeah you are funny.

Have you voiced this opinion out loud in public? Curious to know if people were polite and laughed at you later, or just told you that you’re a moron to your face.

Why do we have to pick a greatest of all time? There have been some great ones who have who played on great teams and also some who played on horrible teams that never won anything. There are a lot of variables to consider. Not sure there will ever be 100% consensus on any one QB. The gap between Johnny Unitas and the typical QB of his era was huge but he had some what ifs too. Montana was fun to watch but people argue that he played on great teams like Brady.

Fair enough. If you had to pick one, I don't see how you couldn't pick Brady hands down though IMO.

Well that and knowing what plays the defense was going to call. Also having an o line that gave him 10 seconds to find someone open for a 5 yard slant. Also great defenses and the goat coach. Also the tuck rule, Pete Carrols play calling and getting a ton of roughing the passer calls when nobody touched him. That’s all though so a pretty small list.
Knowing what plays the defense was going to
Call? I guess that you’re just another person who has no idea what spygate really was?

Defense has always been there for Brady in his SB wins. Titans are dissing Matt Ryan since he came to the Colts blaming him for losing the SB after leading 28-3. However, NE was 8th in defense that year with an average of 20 points given up. Belichick adjusted and the falcons did not respond and history was made. I don’t believe the Falcon defense made the 1 stop needed. NE did. Peyton had the 21st ranked defense and won his lone Colt SB. I still don’t get how the Colts best defense in years the year before lost to Pitt, but that is old news. The point is, TB had consistently good defenses that Peyton did not.

Don’t forget about spygate.

Sneaking a peak on other teams practices had to help a little.
Yes tell me about spygate. I’d love to know the huge advantage that the Patriots got because they were filming opponents signals from the sidelines instead of designated areas.

I remember opposing players marveling at how the Pats just miraculously seemed to know what was coming.

That 2006 Colts defense was ranked poorly during the regular season because Bob Sanders missed most of it due to injuries. When he came back they dominated on defense during the postseason. The Colts had the number two ranked defense in the league in 2005 and lost their first playoff game at home to Pittsburgh. They had the number one ranked defense in the league in 2007, and lost their first playoff game at home to San Diego. Manning had a top ten defense five times in Indianapolis and lost his first playoff in four of those years.

Ok? Doesn’t change the fact that it was completely legal to videotape opposing teams signals. So maybe if other teams had done a better job of doing so, they would have been more successful.

Just about a month later, Brady announced his un-retirement, and Manning didn’t have more gifts. Instead, he had jokes this time around.

“I wrote [Tom] this long [personal letter],” Manning said via ESPN. “I mailed it to him, sent him a bottle of wine. And then he unretires and I’m like, I want the letter back! You got to read all these nice things, I want it back. I want the bottle of wine back, too.”
That reminds me of a wedding gift I got for a couple...it was on the rocks after a month....divorce wasn't official until 7 months (minimum in Louisiana was 6 months if there are no kids). An etiquette expert later told me that all gifts go to the bride.

I don't like the divorces, having witnessed them, some that were beyond sad because of viciousness and influence of family and friends that made them worse. Some which would have led to positive outcomes (getting back together or non-hostile departure) if not for those influences. I also dislike the one-sided manner courts handle divorces, even when it is obviously the woman's fault and involved things that would have a man in jail if he did it. So it should be no surprise to women who lament that men these days seem scared or and avoid commitment. I've even seen where a woman earned more than her husband, had an affair with some guy, and still ended up with the house he owned before they married, along with alimony despite the fact the kids told the court if forced to live with their mom, they'd run away (which they did, thrice). So this business about gifts going all to her is just another example of the one-sided hogwash. When the guy has been an abusive, lying, cheating warthog, I'm the first to say he deserves the worse the courts throw at him. But often, you can be the nicest guy ever, and you still get railroaded. I lucked out and got a wife who is something of an old-fashioned, God-fearing, great cook (though I share cooking duties at my insistence), loyal, fun-loving, outdoors-loving, super mom, prankster gal. But I do understand why a lot of guys shy away from marriage these days. For too many in this era, the below is too true.

Marriage is the chief cause of divorce. The husband who wants a happy marriage should learn to keep his mouth shut and his checkbook open. --Groucho Marx--
