I read the practice report too. Shades of Tiyon Evans struggling. When at full speed, no one else was close. My take on this kid.
Wasn’t basing any of my stuff off of a practice report. Just from what I have seen with mine own eyes. Wright doesn’t even look like the same back Physically, he is much bigger and stronger than last year. Small has always had the best vision of the backs and without being injured could surprise people even more this year. Williams will be a very good back as a Freshman but I don’t think he will be able to press for RB1 or RB2 this year. That’s all I’m saying.

30,000 foot view:

One of our biggest, and most overlooked, issues last year was our high "Sacks Allowed" rate.

If we cut our sack rate from a very high rate (last year) to a moderate rate via better pass pro and Hooker improving his awareness:

We save 1.5-2 extra drives/game. Go from ~40ppg to 45 ppg. Enough to win those 3 close'uns...maybe another.

A few small tweaks from Y1 to Y2 and we're cooking...

I mean when you invest millions upon millions in one and a buck fifty in the other what the hell do you expect? The disparity is even worse if you consider the investment from grade school onward.
I don’t really think that’s true….. besides a hug fan following what do the women not have? My daughter plays lower level college basketball and she had as much training and work as any male player.

What does Prof's comment have to do with black social issues?

Afaik just as similarly high a % of NCAAM are black as NCAAW.
What does being woke have to do with any race? Wokeism is a mind set that isn’t rational to many people and or is so understandable that most can see it. Boy is a boy, Girl is a girl. Just an example.

Your scouting report sounds eerily similar to Fingers. If it’s your own creation, well done. Doesn’t change mine. We make it way too easy to outsmart ourselves with early camp declarations. Owning my own with that caveat.

Being woke doesn’t involve strictly black social issues.
It is the actual original meaning and intent.

Then Jill Stein tweeted it one day, everyone cringed, and everyone left it behind about 5 or 6 years ago as a meaningful term. Few that understood its real purpose use it anymore since it lost its meaning and usefulness.

Now it is merely a perjorative by those using it as...well, anything and everything they broadly oppose lol. Oddly, most don't even realize they're using a vacuuous term no one uses any longer in any meaningful way. It's a little comical tbh. It is what it is though. Generational and social ebbs and flows are funny in that way.

🦬💩...the athletes are not in the same universe. That is why it sucks to watch...I know you hate to admit pure truth, but there it us.

Okay.
I checked and Vols left and right field fences are 320 feet, center field is 390 feet.

Ole Miss mustard balls 330 feet for left and right fields and 390 for center field fence.

Not really a huge difference, imo

Auburn and alabama are the same as ours.

LSU is bigger than ole miss CF 405’, LF & RF same
MSU is same as ole miss

Vandy LF 310 RF 330 and CF 400 weird

Arkansas 325 left and right 390 CF
Usc 325 and 390
Gators 330 and 380

So, it’s just a stupid talking point that’s much ado about nothing.

Does any of the talking head talk about vandy’s misshaped field? Nope. Should be really easy to reach LF wall there…

Green is a graduate so it will be Key next year

Honestly, I'm ready for Key to move on unless she changes her body and style of play. They act like they want to be a transition/dribble drive team, yet, have a big, half court style C who clogs the lane. That draws the D down to double team and pack the passing lanes, which forces them to shoot outside and they basically suck at it. The defenders are already in rebound position when they miss. They can't pull Key out to draw the D because she has no outside shot or ability to drive and the opponents know it. IMO either she changes and improves, or just use her for physical half court games.

It's not working at all like it should. The two transfers being brought in are going to want to run. Let's hope they can also shoot well outside if Key stays the same and Kellie gives her starter minutes.

I have patients that Kratom works better than narcotics. I do have to explain the dangers of mixing.
We check for Kratom in our government mandated drug screens for patient safety. I don’t have a problem with it. Same with illicit drugs or alcohol and narcotics. Very bad things can happen with polypharmacy…
I know...I read..

What a load of 💩

And that's an assumption and rather silly response. We don't invest in women's sports and then y'all whine when the product suffers. Larry Bird was a generational player in a generation of super-stars but how he practiced is irrelevant. He's the exception that proves the rule. However, in general the more time and money invested in something the better it gets. Yeah, some like Bird can just use dirt. Most everyone else needs support, coaching, equipment, weight training.

The differences in men and women are always going to exist. No one's arguing that but the athletic training matters as does coaching and equipment. Ask anyone who has ever played any sport. Raise the bar across the board and women's sports will get better. And if it's that you only enjoy watching the best of the best, I don't understand why you bother with college sports at all.
I like college sports much better than pro. I also watch women’s sports in general (watched UK and Auburn softball today). Basketball isn’t one of them because they aren’t fluid and it’s a slower game. I‘m sure lower level coaching is inferior but I just don’t think it all comes down to money. I’m also not against women getting proper training and access to equipment.

It has been used in many different ways throughout history…. Now it is referring to all of this pseudo-progressivism that is based on feelings and emotion instead of logic.
