NC St closed out the game on a 15-4 run. ND choked the game away. Ivey's timeout, when Miles had the ball and ND had the numbers, prevented a very high percentage shot with a minute and a half left. Not a good finish for the ND players or coach.

Yeah, that would have to be in the "major upset" category based on winning in what has been the most hostile environment of the tournament.

But I think the OP was thinking about MAJOR-major, as in one seeds being knocked out because we'd have to be the first to beat the odds.

Yeah, I was mostly thinking one seeds. Also, if you go back and look at the ESPN picks thread that was started yesterday, it shows where two of the experts picked Creighton (the lower seed) to get past Iowa State. That’s not the case for any of the other matchups. They heavily favored the higher seeds.

Wow, I didn't realize anyone had picked Creighton in that matchup. They're definitely having a helluva tournament. Good stuff!
