Looking at NIL ....

Opendorse is a platform which works with student athletes (and collectives) by providing a platform (application) for the management of NIL deals. It deals with administration, scheduling, tax reporting, and things like that. Spyre Sports uses their app for its student athletes.

Since July of 2021 Opendorse has been collecting data on all NIL deals (over 70,000 student athletes) on its platform and so far has found that 70% of all compensation is going to men’s sports and 60% of all NIL compensation is going to football.

Spyre takes 10% of NIL deals for operational and overhead costs, arranging deals and stuff like that.

I wanted to take a look at how Spyre’s annual budget target might work out for football.

So out of $30 million, $3 million is for operating the collective. That leaves $27 million. 60% of that is $16.2 million for football. The rest goes to other sports, basketball, baseball, volleyball, etc.

Then I wanted to estimate how much I could use for each position group. I looked at NFL average salaries by position and highest paid NFL players by position.

In college football the conventional wisdom is your team is really made up of only your top 40 guys so these would be the guys making all the money. Everyone else is pretty much practice squad players until they can work themselves into a contributing role.

Using the NFL draft as an example it is generally assumed higher rated players or coveted transfers earn more than lower rated players and starters earn more than backups etc.

So this is my first take on a rough annual budget breakout by position group based on the limited data available and leaning on my experience in project controls which included estimating and budget development and tracking.

Now the way this works in real life, I would have assembled inputs from all the position groups and crunched the numbers to fit under our total number and then presented the initial draft back to the position groups. Then they would be cursing me and pushing back with all kinds of legitimate reasons why they needed more money. Anyway, this is my initial draft of how this might work out or how much we might spend for the guys we need by position group. jmo.

Dear Morgan Wallen,

Shut up, stupid. CJH has an OC, and a pretty **** good one.

Oh and your "music" sucks.

Wow lol. Triggered much ? You do know the tweet is an insult to Kiffin right ? Kiffin was playing his music at their practice.

Guys, we have reasoned Deus's dumb position into the dirt so much so, that he has continued to entrench himself even further by his own hand. He knows he's wrong... So, should we end this and ignore him, or give him a bigger shovel? The show could be fun

Stupidity should be shamed, not applauded. That's the beauty of a message board/social media, if you see something you disagree with, it's totally okay to voice a dissenting opinion. I'd have said it on Twitter, but they banned me for calling FGL "the special education department of country music".
the beauty of this message board is the ignore button….byyyyeeeee 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

Hey @butchna , I was in pest control 3 years til here recently and did herbicide and insecticide sales for Bayer 20 years ago. Saw u had some experience in that

So a guy came to work for company I used to be at. Super knowledgeable about bugs, pests, kind of guy that had ant and roach farms and spiders and stuff in aquariums

We had a factory call us about rats. We were the 20th company they had used to try cure this problem. They had contrac bloc'd the he'll out of it for years.

Michael finally found some big holes in ground 50 to 75 ft from building and told the dude we need move this earth with a dozer. And he set up these temporary stations inside with water bottles similar to what you'd feed a guinea pig out of.

And put this super toxic liquid in there where we had get permits, train employees not touch. Notify of spills. Had monitor closely.

So when they moved that earth 100's of Norway rats I believe he said, scattered everywhere freaking everyone out. The manager believed him then tho cause he was the first to suggest.

They being phobic to new things they started drinking it after a week or so. And man the dead rats at this place was biblical

Thought you'd get a kick out of needing a D8 dozer and liquid blood thinner powerful enough to bleed you out from spilling it on you

And I thought I knew it all
That’s akin to Kim Jong Un lining up surface to air artillery point blank on his 150 lb uncle for proper execution. Lot to accomplish very little. Spike down a few rodent bait stations and fill them with Final Bloxx. All the anti-coagulate that’s needed and they’ll kill themselves at their own leisure. I order the off-brand off of Amazon for the one station I have outside our back fence. Lasted two years and wipes out activity.

I'm sure I'm not the only one to mention this, but I just listened to the VQ podcast from Monday and shoutout to @Bassmaster_Vol for being such a pest that they felt they had to address his criticisms about AP's trip to Disneyland. Keep keeping them honest, Bass!
Lol it’s because they know each other now so they are like that with each other

It's one thing for them to do that on long stretches of road or highway where visibility is great but doing that in a city? Let the closer unit get there or hell even be a little late. It was a burglary call and most of those are well after the fact (no suspect present just come take a statement). No reason to drive like a maniac unless there was an active situation where someone's life is on the line. Police vehicles are designed to take out civilian ones. It's devastating when they hit regular cars.

We assumed 19 other companies had tried everything. The hole they dug out was an Olympic sized swimming pool of a rats nest. I'm not a rodent expert. I always referred that to him. I wish I'd have known to ask you then

Edit. Just looked it up

Brodifacoum vs Bromadiolone
Efficacy of rodenticide baits with decreased concentrations of brodifacoum: Validation of the impact of the new EU anticoagulant regulation | Scientific Reports
looks like brodifacoum is newer and overcomes resistance at the lower 25ppm with rodents getting used to 50ppm with the others

Man. Seinfeld and crappy country music. I'd really hate to hear your opinion on something that actually matters.

Wouldn’t consider myself an expert. Just learned what worked and didn’t on my routes. I wasted a lot of product drowning insects…live and learn. Nasty business. Glad I’m just handling my household nowadays.

Tell me what I missed in "Heupel is looking for a quality OC". Did I miss that that is a slap in the face to the quality OC we already have?? Did I miss where dude's a moron for thinking that Heupel would trade Golesh for Kiffin?? Tell me what I missed, wise one.
I think what you missed is that he is saying that Kiffin is not good enough to be a HC. He should have remained an OC.

And there it is. "This shouldn't be hard to understand." It's really not. "Heupel is looking for a quality OC.". Does this or does this not imply that the OC that is currently in place (and doing a damn fine job) ISN'T quality?? Thereby directly "poking fun" at Golesh?? This shouldn't be hard to understand......
You are so cringe haha 😂

Me too. I love the advion gel syringes for ants. The fipronil and indoxacarb syringes for roaches I've had success with.

I've sprayed alot of timbor under houses up here remediating fungus. There is real money in that if u go 12 mil, dehum, spray foam etc.

I fipronil outside once year, synthetic pyrethroid the other 3 times
