What is your view on the scooters all over major cities? I think they trash things up but people seem to enjoy them. If they could find away to make them more organized instead of people just tossing them on the sidewalk when they are through with them I think they are a great alternative to cars in downtown areas.
I agree 110%. Im all about alternative transportation options.

Had I been able to afford a bike in college, id have def done that. Id hve been over the moon with a scooter ...My car broke down mid semester in 07...

Anothe of those alternative sources is one foot in front of the other. Will and want.

Walking is for losers, get some heelys and really get around town (if ya know what I mean, ladies ;) )

I mean if someone wants a car, I think they should be free to choose whatever car they want and can afford. However, if I was young and lived in a city I would certainly consider something like that thing in the video or a scooter. Of course I am 41 and I enjoy the safety and comfort of my car. I do walk from my car to the building though.

there is nothing about that that's safe or legal.

in and out of curb and street, should be jailed.
I don’t want to be the one to take up for the local communist but I was at the UT and Bowling Green game and a teen:young adult was riding a similar device and came flying on it near the stadium…. He almost hit my son before he ran into a crowd of people taking out 4-5 of them.

always a bad apple. get rid of that, leave the rest.

I see where you're going. Again, breaking the laws in place is a choice. He chose to behave in a manner that could injure himself or others. That is my issue, not the silly rocket propelled unicycle. Let me be clear, I can see how my post was confusing.

Dodging and weaving in oncoming traffic isnt 'freedom', its playing chicken.

I am not disagreeing about obeying the law. I think they should all be followed by all people at all times. However, I also see people daily on the interstate doing 80+ mph weaving in and out of traffic. If the kid in the video screwed up, he is likely to damage someone's vehicle and probably hurt himself. My point is people do that crap all the time with vehicles that pose way more danger to innocent bystanders than that little scooter thing. Not excusing his behavior but it isn't unique either.

Cars are 'street legal' with blinkers, lights, seat belts.

Motorcyles, a better example have helmet laws (in this State) as do bicyles if riding on a road. If they're going to be allowed, individuals need abide by same laws as others.

Nah, iron sharpens iron and the entire team will Benefit from that fierce competition...can't wait to see it
Nailed it. Look at the QB talent Saban had over the past 10 years. Bring in strong kids who want to win and let 'em fight it out.

I will say though, I'm not sure how a team will ever have a good backup QB in the current 'free agent' system. If they don't win the job, they're leaving.

Microcosm of college basketball- this game was poorly officiated.
Some pretty bad blown calls. The step out of bounds and some questionable fouls on Gonzaga. Also the trip that really could have been a flagrant one if it was judged to be intentional. Arkansas played very well and earned the win, but those dang calls had impact for sure.

Fans will sleep on this kid but I would not. Kid has something special about him. It is in his blood to be special based on his parents and brother successes. It would not shock me one bit if he beats out Nico
He has the potential and all the tools to be great. It looks like he only threw the ball about 13 times a game on avg in HS, so I wonder if he will have a little more of a learning curve adjusting to Heupels offense.

Out of all the entries in our group only 3 people left, @DarthVol1 , @Orangeburst , and @Chuckie , who have a chance to pick the right national champ.

Arizona & Purdue . . .

Edit: we have 4 members still with a title pick shot. @VolNash17 has Kansas. Not sure how I missed seeing it, but I'm sure it has nothing to do with old age and poor eyesight.

@Devo182 is currently tied for first overall with yours truly.
Gonzaga did me in.

Tennessee is just going to have to be willing to pay more for a quality back up/future starter than another school is willing to pay for a current starter. Then the 3rd string will have to be someone who enjoys being part of the team and understands their spot, which has been the case for a while.

USA should have won that game. 2 chances right in front and no goals. Man.

Still, a draw at Azteca and a much needed point. Win at home against Panama plus a Costa Rica draw or loss and we qualify with a game left. Need to make that happen.

USA extends the unbeaten streak against Mexico to 4 games tho 😏
Huge game Sunday for sure. Need those 3 points. Do not want to go to Costa Rica still needing points to get in.

Beaches in Florida are banning them because of so many injuries and deaths occurring on them.
