War in Ukraine

Not surprised you live in an alternate reality. Russia is winning and will win, unless NATO gets involved. Accept it.
I know most people do not like his views, but he is correct on this. the only thing Ukraine is winning is the propaganda war. the Russians are falling back on their old tactics of bombing cities to oblivion. The Russians are linking up troops in the south and have cutoff the Ukrainians from the sea.

I said this a week or so ago and it still holds true today. The Ukrainians have to hold on in hopes that NATO will join the fight. How long will NATO and/or western Europe sit by while cities are bombed and 10's-100,000+ civilians are killed in the shelling? How many refugees will the NATO countries take before it becomes unmanageable and they must fight?

Right now the NATO strategy appears to be a war of attrition using Ukrainian troops (with NATO supplied weapons) to slowly reduce the Russian military, How long can Ukraine last doing this? Can they kill enough Russian troops to cause chaos and potentially a coup in Russia? While all these questions are fascinating to me, we have to realize that while we wait for answers to all of this both Russians and Ukrainian kids are dying for no reason.

US/NATO want the carnage in Ukraine...no surrender, no ceasefire...pure evil

So it is your assertion that the US government is evil for not invading Ukraine but the actual government that did invade Ukraine, is killing innocent people, but isn't evil? Clown statement of the millenium

Weird how you keep missing the forest for the trees....Russia could end the war anytime it chose to or not started it in the first place. You can what if all you want with NATO. It is irrelevant.

Babble, babble, babble. If this post was audible it would sound like Charlie Browns teacher.
You do seem to have the processing skills of Charlie Brown so I see how that may sound like babble.

I'll give you enough credit to assume that on some level you understand what I'm saying is true.

I disagree, the Ukrainians need to hold onto hope that the Russian people will make a change internally. That the Russian people will get tired of seeing their sons killed in a meaningless war and rise up against Putin. NATO isn't getting directly involved nor should we.

Clausewitz
So there is a larger objective.
And winning would be defined by if war furthered you overall long term objectives.
And that is why Russia is emphatically losing.
Thanks.
Even Charlie Brown can learn something new.

I mean the guy's a literal actor and the western world considered him a POS until the invasion. Obviously the invasion is bad, but that doesn't make him a good person or Ukraine a non corrupt country. All things can be true.

Reagan was an actor and shepherded the USSR into dissolution.
The Western world considered Zelensky a piece of **** where? I've read critique or skepticism, given Ukraine's corruption, regarding pace of reform or his ability as a political outsider to actually reform the nation, but not that he's a corrupt POS, which you seem to imply.

It can also be true that the invasion is unjustified by any measure, that he is a good man in a corrupt country attempting to make it better. Why didn't that possibility occur to you?

The destruction of the Ukrainian government and control over Ukraine is their objective.

How is Russia losing when they have almost completely cut off Ukraine from the Black Sea?

Clausewitz

Clausewitz quote gets often misused. It's actual with other means, not by other means.
"“We maintain…that war is simply a continuation of political intercourse, with the addition of other means. We deliberately use the phrase ‘with the addition of other means’ because we also want to make it clear that war in itself does not suspend political intercourse or change it into something entirely different [my italics]. In essentials that intercourse continues, irrespective of the means it employs.”

As I said a few days earlier, this is the Russian model. Russia couldn't get Ukraine to the negotiating table, so they used war. Unfortunately, with Zelensky being a NATO puppet and NATO not allowing any sort of ceasefire or surrender, even war isn't achieving Russia's diplomatic desire with Ukraine. So the only option left is complete victory through war.

Russia may "win" the war and subdue Ukraine but they will pay a steep price.

Ukraine's only hope is to keep filling Russian body bags until the Russian people have had enough.
