Did you see that crap sky hook from 8 feet they hit? Pure bs shot. Then ZZ strokes one and hit every part of the rim and bounced out. One day you are the bug. One day the windshield.

Yep, same player a couple possessions before that drive in from the right side. After leaving his feet he became worried his feet were going to get taken out from under him. He completely abandons his shot attempt to brace his fall, and the damn ball ends up going through the hoop. And we got called for the foul. That’s the way the ball bounces sometimes, and that’s life in a single-elimination tournament.

Think about it this way. If you were given the opportunity to win a million dollars on a half court shot and had two options: (a) you get one shot and have to make it, or (b) you get 10 shots but have to make six. Which option are you choosing? Probably choosing the one shot opportunity, right. Because it’s more likely you’ll get lucky once than to defy the odds six times out of ten.

So because I can’t think of someone to hire, that means Barnes is immune from criticism? Players absolutely deserve blame. But so does Barnes. He got out coached yet again. I mean how many more early exits should we be ok with? Serious question.

2 things I saw….. never figured out how to defend their screening action up top and couldn’t decide whether to double the post or not causing rotations to be slow and late.

This is why you can’t listen to the talking heads saying there is no difference between a 2-3 seed. Give TN the St Peters/Murray St 1st/2nd rd matchup and we cruise. Give TN the Cal St Fullerton/Michigan St matchup and we move on. Instead they sneak a team in to tourney that underachieved after being ranked 6th in preseason polls knowing they can be a fake Cinderella ratings upset potential team if it all clicked. It was a bad matchup. We had no answer for Dickinson who couldn’t miss. Howard coached a great game like he did last year in their big tourney run. Just sucks that we ended up with what normally is a talent matchup you see in sweet 16 we see in rd2. We played well just couldn’t get a 3 to drop and their defense took vescovi completely out and he made bad shot selections in frustration.

I will say, there were a few times late yesterday where Barnes was just frustrated. I know once he was trying to call TO and im not sure if they couldnt hear or just werent looking but it took a good 10 seconds or so for them to realize. Also a few times where he was telling them to press (I think) and they either werent looking or didnt hear and didnt do whatever he was trying to call.

Okay Yellowstone fanatics. I signed up for paramount+ thinking it was on there but it isn't. Two questions.

1. Best place to watch yellowstone?
2. Should I just watch 1883 first since it is on paramount+ or will I miss nods to the original show and not appreciate it as much as I should.
