Play your five star center Barnes and not Plasvic so much. Don’t understand his decisions sometimes and he really puckers up and overthinks every tournament. He is what he is. Good coach who can’t handle tournament time.
I told you to stay where you was, can’t even remember now where it was![]()
I don't understand why people don't understand this. It's always been this way. The only thing different is that we've actually gotten to attend on a more regular basis for the past 15 or so years. Luck and seeding are absolutely crucial to winning the tourney. Everyone involved in basketball knows this but no one tinkers with it because it's so much fun.
Put it another way, who here is willing to mess with a billion dollar formula to make the tournament more equitable for some team you don't care about?
I'm not an expert on basketball-- but it seems like there was a lot of focus on guarding him. Could be why he wasn't playing as well.
Barnes isn't getting fired from UT. He could never win anything in the postseason again and he'd still retire on his terms.
Duke did it twice. KY and UNC once.I didn't say it, but over the years there haven't been alot of teams that won a grueling conference championship tournament and then turned around and won the Dance. The stats may not bear that out, but it's always seemed that way to me. I enjoyed seeing us win the SEC but that was kind of lurking back there in my mind.
Anyone calling for Barnes job are no different than the dumbass UK fans wanting to fire Calipari. Hall of fame coaches don’t grow on trees. The tournament is too much about luck and matchups. We always seem to catch the Cinderella team just like our rotating west opponent in football will always have a once in a decade type team.Barnes isn't getting fired from UT. He could never win anything in the postseason again and he'd still retire on his terms.
