Last tourney game against the puke yellows killed handball for me.

They won the SEC this year. That’s all that should matter to me. Rest of the country can go to hell.

Amazing how much better great shooting makes a team look. And how bad poor shooting makes a team look.

That’s how you know they are elite. They shot horribly and still lead most of the game.

Too bad, but the tournament is a total crap shoot. Love Barnes and love the Vols. They at least grabbed one tournament banner to hang.

We will be back next year… unless we go nuts, fire Barnes and kickstart another decade of mediocrity and cycling through coaches

Rick is a great guy… Rick is a good regular season coach. Otherwise he is what he is. I don’t think we need to fire him at all. Just going to have to deal with the tournament misses until he “retires”. Don’t want to burn bridges in coaching industry

I didn't say it, but over the years there haven't been alot of teams that won a grueling conference championship tournament and then turned around and won the Dance. The stats may not bear that out, but it's always seemed that way to me. I enjoyed seeing us win the SEC but that was kind of lurking back there in my mind.

When you live by the three ball, you die by the three ball. It's been said that Barnes changed his game philosophy this year because he had confidence in his guard heavy lineup. That worked well for us until it didn't. On a lighter side, we appear to have a 5 star QB in the works

19 of his 26 trips to the tournament have ended in the first two rounds

It's truly insane how his teams fall apart

I believed in us fully. There was nothing about the way we have been performing that would suggest we would lose like this.

It has nothing to do with Barnes.. What did they do wrong? They were cold from three, but Michigan was playing good defense-- they were back and forth the whole game. We just have to get over this hump. Coach Barnes is a great coach and recruiter.

I think we played a top 10 team that found a way to squander the regular season but are putting it together now.

An 11 seed missing their starting PG, but whatever helps you sleep at night.
