I knew a guy that shot bleach into his arm. He said he wanted a disability check. His arm swelled up the size of a football and turned a deep red brown color. Don’t know what happened to him after they had to slice his arm open. Probably died. No bleach for my eyes.

If you want disability badly enough to shoot yourself up with bleach, you're already disabled. The government just hadn't recognized the category the guy belonged in so he found another box for them to check.

Also amazing he had that level of coaching and national recognition at only 16. I can't think of any modern boxer that has had something like that at such a young age. Though I think Oscar De La Hoya had some when he was young, but not like that and that young afaik. Amazing.

I think the difference is you can pay me enough to take a hit from De La Hoya but you can't pay me enough to take one from Mike. Both are ridiculous athletes and competitors but Mike has a sledgehammer for a fist. Also, the poor amateurs weren't getting paid back then!
