I remember hearing Mike talk when I was a kid and wondering how such a large and powerful man had such a soft voice. Listening to him in that interview, it's obvious that what I was hearing wasn't a high pitched voice but just his accent. I just wasn't familiar enough with various New York accents at the time to pick up on it. Still, it's amazing that he was built like that at 16. I can't really blame amatuers for not wanting to get in the ring with him tho.

Also amazing he had that level of coaching and national recognition at only 16. I can't think of any modern boxer that has had something like that at such a young age. Though I think Oscar De La Hoya had some when he was young, but not like that and that young afaik. Amazing.

Yeah......Florida-Georgia Line, Luke Bryan and others have made exorbitant amounts of money as well. Doesn't change the fact that they (as my Dad used to say) "ain't worth the powder to blow them to hell". Same applies to Seinfeld, just because "he made so much money" doesn't change the fact that he, and his show, still ain't funny.

Started binging it on Netflix from the beginning. You miss nuances the first time around. Jerry’s parents were hilarious and remained so. Lot more subtle than George’s who emerged later in the series. Time has only made it more timeless. Futile rolling of the boulder up a hill for my man posting every minute on the minute last night.

I can't believe he looked like that at 16. He probably didn't look much different @ 14. He's smarter than a lot of people give him credit for. If I'd never heard of Mike Tyson and saw that video, I'd be really impressed by his size and demeanor.
