I made them call me a butler/chauffeur name all night

Kenley had been declining for a little while up to his disastrous 2020 playoffs…. We couldn’t trust him at all which is why urias closed out our series clinching win…. We brought in another potential closer to compete with him…. Kenley struggled at the start of the season and was losing save opportunities…. From that point…. A lot of his metrics changed to the point that it is pretty uncommon at his age…. Will he be the guy from this past season or the player that was extremely close to losing his job…. The Dodgers decided to move on and weren’t going to match any offer for him…. If he is able to maintain his changes then the Braves got a good pitcher…. His walk rate and missed pitch rate were higher but he also had more spin which helped to lower his hard hit rate. Time will tell.

Braves didn’t bring in Jansen to shut down the 9th. He’s a right-handed piece to use in an already otherwise strong bullpen. He’s closed a bunch of games in high pressure situations and has pitched in a ton of playoff games. 1-year deal for not that much money. It’s a slam dunk depth move.
