I get that the tournament doesn't matter.we have always known that. My issue is that Tennessee was a two seed after the season in the SEC. Kentucky was a 3. So based on the regular season we were better than KY in the standings. Them getting a two is blatant favoritism. That's ok, let's wreck this bitch.

Joe Lunardi is a ****ing tool. He literally can’t explain his reasoning for a 3 seed when pressed on TV.

He can't explain it because he was probably told 2 weeks ago by a handful of insiders what the seeds were gonna be. There's a reason the narrative when we played UK was that they'd earn a 1 seed. AND a reason that when the media pictures were put out on tweets hours before the selection show UK was front and center on the images. If we had just lost to UK they could've papered over what would've been a bad seed for Tennessee by pointing that out. The whole reason everyone's counter argument is to act like we're talking about the tourney when we're talking about our season not the SECT is because it was decided 2 weeks ago that Duke would get the 2 seed because of K and at the time they thought we'd be the easiest to screw over because it was assumed BOTH Auburn and UK would win.

Tournament 100% should matter, and head to head should matter. The fact that they don’t (for us, at least) makes the whole thing BS.
