I am pretty sure I said right up front that I don't frequent SB. But all this 'SB's coffee is burnt' is silly. It's massed produced, which I think is more of the issue. But hey, I get it. If you don't like it... you don't like it. Some of ya'll up in here are awfully butthurt over coffee though.

I have a coffee roaster at home. It's an air popper kind of like the old air pop popcorn poppers. There is really an art to roasting beans. I don't use it a lot, mainly because it doesn't smell as good as you would think, but it is pretty fun to play with. Anyway, when you roast you are listening for what is called the 'crack' and that is the point when the water in the beans turns into steam and starts to explode the beans (it's a mild explosion, but I didn't have a better word). There are 2 'crack' events. After the first one, if you let them continue to roast you move towards the darker roasts, but are still in the more mild flavors. After the second crack, (and this is where the art comes in) if you stop shortly after that crack finishes you have French roast. Dark and delicious. And better than anything you can buy anywhere. If you let the process continue beyond the French Roast stage for as little as 30 seconds you get to Italian Roast, and as little as 15 seconds beyond that, it's burnt. I am sure there are some out there that would even like what I called the burnt stage, but I'm not one of them. The beans have expelled most if not all their water by then and you are roasting paper.

We should throw Delaware out of the country for giving us this POS for the last 50 years. I think I will personally thank everyone in a car from Delaware for that when I see them here in the free state of Florida.

I mean you don't even have to disagree with individuals to choose homosexuality as a lifestyle but think it's weird two grown adult men would act like they had twins, and the mother and twins are doing fine. Then take federal government max paid time off then come back talking racist roads and bridges. He probably want to add gay roads and bridges. In the next breath talk about adding cameras everywhere, like a surveillance state, to ticket people.

I wonder if they will discuss their next pee brain idea to lift sanctions on Venezuela. They have an administration that is more in line with the government there.

If we still had Presidential elections instead of appointments Pete's political career would be done after Biden leaves office but since we don't he may very well be the next POTUS.

What if they are moving in methodically and doing their best to not break any eggs because they have no interest in destroying or rebuilding Ukraine? They could easily pull a shock and awe like attack and level the entire place and create a humanitarian catastrophe, but that isn't necessarily happening right now.

He could easily go full tyrant and leave no building standing in Ukraine and “win”. How much human loss will the rest of the world put up with before they put a price on his head?
