Honesty no. Putting 91 octane in an engine tuned for 87 octane actually results in lower performance and thus lower mileage. The timing curve is setup for 87 octane so all you’re doing is wasting money and getting lower performance. If people are seeing lower mileage with different brands I’d guess it’s manufacturer specific formulation/additive differences.

Start filling back up when your needle hits half a tank. That's what I've done in the past.
My wife argues w/me about it but will save you some money. She likes to complain she spends too much to fill up. She doesn't like my idea.

It was $3.49 here one day .... I drove by the next day & it was $3.99 a gallon.
Highway robbery to say the least. Crack Head Biden doesn't care about Americans.
