President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

Was one of those the time he fell like three times trying to climb the stairs into AF1? Surprised they don't have an escalator by now. However, I'd recommend an old fashioned outhouse on a forklift to lift biden to the door - with all due respect for his position in mind.

Joe's got a new chair for AF1.

At this hour, Joe Biden is at home in Delaware again and Kamala Harris is preparing to go to Poland. Are you kidding me?
Ask yourself... who really is running this operation in Washington? Because by now, it should be clear it ain't Joe. It should be sinking in to you by now that there is a quote "Deep State" or cabal running this country right now... and we see that they don't give a hot damn about Americans, so what would make anyone believe that they care about Ukrainians? This is all a game to them.

I agree and there is so much packed into that. They don't have to reveal who they are. Just trot Joe and Kamala out as puppets while they make the real decisions, but they don't have to answer for the train wreck we've seen the last year. That's how Biden and Harris can work about 40 hours a week. They're not trying to really solve anything except for trying to figure out how to rob citizens of their freedoms.

For instance, all this talk of domestic terrorism has people with an average IQ thinking what the heck are they talking about. But then look deeper. They have allowed the country to be flooded with illegals and unvetted Afghan refugees. They chances have increased that we will have a domestic terrorist event in the US.

Take gasoline prices. They talk a good game in public then pushed to start talking real long term solutions to relying on Russia for energy, they draw a hard line and start talking about climate change and electric vehicles. They draw down our reserves and to my knowledge they have not once tried to increase the reserves back to normal levels. One at a time the idiots are trotted out somewhere around the world Kerry, Buttigieg, Psaki, etc pushing anti-US energy production. Now they are doing back door deals with Iran that includes Russia, that is rumored to include us purchasing oil from them as well.

All we can do is write our congressmen and senators to let them know what our "reasonable" expectations are especially once republicans take back congress. Our suggestions can't sound nuts. I'm so glad Jim Cooper won't be representing me any longer.

Well, there are two hurdles to overcome. One, are the midterm elections going to be safe? two, will the GOP sit on their hands and do squat? Talk about an entity that talks a good game but doesn't deliver, that would be the GOP.

I agree. That's why I mentioned contacting you congress person and the senators to let them know what we're thinking.

Pack of Oscar Mayer bacon at 5.99 today. Nice to see. I don’t go to the store often, last time I went bacon was around $10.

But alas, I then went and filled up with gas. Ugh.
Went to the Home Depot in Huntsville (TX) this morning and saw gas price at the Shell where I sometimes gas up now at $3.90 for regular, up another 60-70 cents in the last couple weeks.

Scare tactics by Russia. They can’t even topple Ukraine right now. They couldn’t withstand an onslaught with NATO.
Lets play a mental exercise game. Hypothetically, what if the Russians are not going in like bulls in a china shop and wrecking havoc all over the place, but are going in and trying to maintain civil services (water, electricity, gas, hospitals, etc)? What if they are moving in methodically and doing their best to not break any eggs because they have no interest in destroying or rebuilding Ukraine? They could easily pull a shock and awe like attack and level the entire place and create a humanitarian catastrophe, but that isn't necessarily happening right now.

I have to agree. The real top guns have been held back. Apparently their best are still in Russia.

No reason for everyone to be paranoid but it's amazing the false sense of security that exist because of the very sources people believe is unreliable in other areas. Things may very well be going better than we think but I think a degree of levelheadedness should still apply.

Kemp did shut things down for about three months. But I have always given a pass for pretty much anything those first couple months after March when nothing was known. So yeah he made a bad call based on not having any information. But after just those three months Kemp was able to look at the data they had and opened up.

And Trump took exception to it because it bucked what was coming out of his office/Fauci's mouth.

Trump didnt get on the open up train until a couple months later when elections warmed up. So yeah trump didnt have the power to open states up, but he should have been a leader and offered at least verbal support to a cause you think he had.

I think the insight has the benefit of hindsight. CA was first state to lockdown of March 19 and many more would follow with SC last on April 7. At latest, Trump was telling governors March 26 that we need to open up 'We have to open up our country': Trump tell governors he will press to start the economy back up and that while the fed would provide guidelines, governors had to make the call: "You're gonna call your own shots," Trump tells governors about guidelines to reopen states

A progression:
On March 26th, there were 99K/1684 cases/deaths.
One week later on Apr 3rd, there were 300K/10.8K cases/deaths.
On the date of your article Apr 22, there were 884K/49.3K cases/deaths. United States COVID - Coronavirus Statistics - Worldometer

Concerns change when circumstances change. No one knew what we had in early 2020, anywhere. Those that projected the Black Plague were wrong and those who said "just the flu" were wrong. Expecting today's knowledge to have guided action then is not being objective.
