It is the game and that's a decision HE made at that point. You don't agree that people should endure the consequences of their own decisions, while they know the risk? Or do you think everyone should have a babysitter to hold their hand?
Not at all. Punish the painfully obvious sniper in the tree stuff. But a blanket rule with all injuries is stupid. Plus with the days of the NIL stuff, a kid got x to play he doesnt get his money if he doesnt play. Player feels like he has to stay on the field to support his family, then bam gets hurt, cant play football anymore. NIL deal goes away and kid cant support his family anymore.

Like I said earlier. Player sprains his ankle, doesnt go off because he knows he cant come back. Stays on the field ends up tearing a ligament. Goes to the draft ends up un drafted due to injury concerns. New rule just cost a kid millions.
You’re really gonna call straw man and then start making up fake scenarios? Do you think the triple option should be banned? I guess UGA shouldn’t be allowed to play FCS teams since that could be a player safety issue, right?

I do think FCS games should be gotten rid of. They're a complete waste of time. Also the TO itself shouldn't be banned but cut blocks should be.

Ok. So 2 D lineman go down..... A team is down to a walk on that weighs 260ponds to play DT against UGA. Then it becomes a player safety issue.
You really do seem to be out of your mind. Or maybe you just like argue for the sake arguing because what you’re saying makes no sense.

Nope. Im just more worried about a team needing tempo because they lack execution. The rules or no rules dont matter if teams can execute well enough.

A waste of time and a player safety concern are two different things. Say an nfl caliber FCS player is playing RB but his offensive lineman are terrible. They play UGA, both his legs have to be amputated due to a gruesome injury. They replace them with robot legs and he becomes the fastest man in the world and a super spy. He dates only models now. What a success story.

You've obviously never played. Do you have any idea the amount of execution required to successfully run an offense at the tempo of ours? Both of your arguments are absolutely wrong.

What about benching the starters for less talented athletes, so the starters can stay healthy? So it's ok to bench the starters for their health, but sacrifice the safety security of lesser players. . . but on the other hand, the lesser players shouldn't replace a starter due to injury, because then they're at a higher risk for injury.

Do you not understand how absolutely ignorant and delusional this is? You do know that you are in favor of both of these principals, right?

A severely sprained ankle is literally a small tear in the ligaments. If someone breaks a bone, they are coming off the field.

You just want to dig in on Heupel and his offense, which is no surprise. Teams should be able to play fast, slow, or in between if they think it’s an advantage. Faking injuries admits you can’t handle it.
