War in Ukraine

Shifting gears back to Ukraine and Russia... How does everyone feel about the response in Russia? Now that they're seeing what's actually happening instead of what Tas and Pravda cooked up, Russians have taken to the street in protest. Almost 2000 anti war demonstrators arrested last night alone.
I don't know how accurate our news from Russia is and how widespread the protests really are. But it's heartening to see good people protest injustice.

The sun is rising and the center of the city seems to remain. If what we see is true, that tells you everything you need to know. They are giving them hell on earth.

It's nice to see, but in the near-term, at least, Putin is far too insulated from domestic political pressure for it to matter.

To the Russian tank driver who ran over the civilian car....... You are a weak small human being. Your aren't even a man, I don't wish death on any individual but if anyone deserves it, that tank driver does.

I would love to teach that "guy" a lesson but I don't he would have the honor to stand one on one with a real man.
I think it was an accident looked like he totally lost control of his vehicle. I didn’t know tanks moved like that

It’s striking that Putin’s personal finances are multilaterally now subject to sanction. That essentially means that the international community at large has officially ostracized him, akin to KJU. I don’t see any way that Putin can recover any diplomacy. He is permanently stained with irrationality IMO.

Just saw where there are concerns within Russia about his mental stability. I could see an inside hit job to end this and remove him.

He has Xi to keep him company, feed his ego, and float him some cash while he's useful.

And I fully believe Xi is going to use Putin, if he isn't already, to distract from China's military takeover of Taiwan. Get everyone stuck in Eastern Europe and move while the board is relatively clear.

I don't think Xi wants to be on an island with Putin.
