War in Ukraine

Drone cars packed with some high grade explosives and some homemade napalm would shut that tactic down in a hurry.
That SA-13 was Ukrainian and was stolen by a Russian saboteur along with that Ural in the background. The only soldier to survive from that Ural was the driver. The others were shot.

Putin did nothing when Trump was in..went quasi WW3 when Biden came in. FACTS.

And to think you were one of the folks worried about Trump starting ww3. LOOOOOL.
"Putin did nothing when Trump was in..."

Vladimir Putin orchestrated the most damaging cyber-attack against American companies ever, in December of 2020, and Donald Trump responded to it by publicly siding with Putin's denial of Russian involvement, instead of siding with the publicly stated conclusion of his own Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo.

Hard to tell which of these claims is true, which is not. Do the Ukrainians still have the ability to shoot down planes over Kyiv? If so, and this actually happened, the Russian military has issues.

Russia has not yet knocked out Ukraine’s air defense network so I’m not going to doubt it.

If half this is true and Russia is having this much trouble, then Putin really only has one options. Especially if he wants more than Ukraine. Nuclear.

A lot of hypocrisy, on both sides actually. And a lot to unpack from this short script:

"While this is a security failure of enormous proportions, it is not, as Senator Richard Durban said, “virtually a declaration of war by Russia on the United States” While President-elect Biden said he will make this a top priority, it’s unlikely that he will do much to retaliate.

The reason is that, by international norms, Russia did nothing wrong. This is the normal state of affairs. Countries spy on each other all the time. There are no rules or even norms, and it’s basically “buyer beware”. The US regularly fails to retaliate against espionage operations – such as China’s hack of the Office of Personal Management (OPM) and previous Russian hacks – because we do it, too. Speaking of the OPM hack, the then director of national intelligence, James Clapper, said: “You have to kind of salute the Chinese for what they did. If we had the opportunity to do that, I don’t think we’d hesitate for a minute.”

We don’t, and I’m sure NSA employees are grudgingly impressed with the SVR. The US has by far the most extensive and aggressive intelligence operation in the world."

Russian space chief talks of Space Station Crashing Down to Earth

Russia's space chief delivered an ominous message to Western nations about the International Space Station crashing down to Earth.

Roscosmos Director General Dmitry Rogozin warned that Russian engines control the orbit and location of the space station as President Joe Biden and European leaders unveiled new sanctions in response to the invasion of Ukraine that he said would "degrade" Russia's "aerospace industry," according to The Sun.

"If you block cooperation with us, who will save the International Space Station from an uncontrolled de-orbit and fall into the United States or ... Europe?" Rogozin said on social media Thursday. "There is also the possibility of a 500-ton structure falling on India and China. Do you want to threaten them with such a prospect?"

The Russian space chief also said the space station does not fly over Russia, adding in a missive to the United States that "all the risks are yours" and asking if the country is "ready for them."

Yes, we do it too. The difference is Russia and China don't report our attacks against them.

I'm pretty sure that Kevin Mitnick is still regarded as the best computer hacker in history. I haven't heard anything from him in a long time... but I bet if you were to Google "Best Computer Hacker Ever" - every link would be to Kevin Mitnick.

He has a video discussing some of his exploits and without saying what he actually did, he says that he has been advised by the State Department to avoid traveling to eastern Europe for the rest of his life.

Just read a story about Russian soldiers driving a family out of their homes and putting guns to the heads of their children.

Don’t ever want to see any of you idiots arguing against the 2A again.
If a foreign country invades the US and starts removing families from their homes at gun point, I assure you the 2A will be the very last thing on my mind.
