Let’s not forget that it was Clinton that forced Ukraine to give up their nuclear weapons and Obama that stood by and let Putin take Crimea. Dem presidents aren’t just bad for us, they’re bad for Ukraine too.

Times are different now. This country is as divided as its ever been, our leadership is as awful as its ever been as well.

Not really. We didnt join WWI because just as many people thought we should fight for the central powers. And there was a sizable chunk still in WW2 too.

My point is that BLM is nothing new. It's just black separatist messaging from the 60s in modern packaging, and at a smaller scale and intensity.

"Defund the police" is a small minority position, even in the black community.

That doesn't sound remotely possible to me. Seems kind of ridiculous to have nukes but not have the codes to use them. The reality is that if Ukraine still had the nukes, Putin probably wouldn't have invaded.

BLM is mocked as well by people who disagree with it. I wasn't alive then, but that era seems way worse in terms of division.

I get it, recency bias is a powerful thing. Whatever happens to be right in front of you at the moment has the biggest impact on people's thinking.

As 85 just mentioned, if Ukraine didn't have the codes to launch the nukes (or if they couldn't have developed another method to launch), why the push by Clinton to get Ukraine to give them up?
