My point is that BLM is nothing new. It's just black separatist messaging from the 60s in modern packaging, and at a smaller scale and intensity.I get it..lots of all manners of discourse. They were just the Mouse that roared like a lion. The mouse yesterday is the lion today. Today is much worse with national policy set around this rebellion including defunding the police, corporate support of the rebellion, our economic system, public persona who raged against the machine, yet today support it, or whatever.

"Defund the police" is a small minority position, even in the black community.
Hollywood freaking loved the Black Panthers. Jane Fonda. They had lots of cultural cachet on the left - conservatives despised them, just like they despise BLM. BLM is a knock off Black Panther copycat organization. The Black Panthers did not have corporate sponsorship and federal gov support. Hell,,even TV commercials.

BLM is mocked as well by people who disagree with it. I wasn't alive then, but that era seems way worse in terms of division. And they were mocked. Were you alive then? I just see no comparison to the national vitriol with such 2 divided camps.
They were Soviet nukes stored there. That would have just been the launch point, but the order would still come from Moscow. That doesn't sound remotely possible to me. Seems kind of ridiculous to have nukes but not have the codes to use them. The reality is that if Ukraine still had the nukes, Putin probably wouldn't have invaded.

I get it, recency bias is a powerful thing. Whatever happens to be right in front of you at the moment has the biggest impact on people's thinking.
