War in Ukraine

I normally do drink Patron Silver when I'm drinking tequila. Just thought I would change it up today, I guess.
I haven't been on VN for awhile until today. Last time I was on, you had some personal stuff going on. Has it improved? I hope it has.

(This is genuine)

Biden has decided not to use SWIFT against the Russians last I saw reported. So if he isn't going to use the harshest possible sanctions he can, it's fair to say he's being weak IMO. No one should want American boots on the ground. But don't speak about what crushing harsh sanctions you're going to impose then turnaround and take one of the harshest you could impose off the table.

Have to keep some arrows in the quiver.

I read earlier he didn't have the votes for swift. My reaction was to sanction and penalize every country that blocked it

While I agree, I do believe he was more concerned with Trump than he is Biden. He couldn't easily predict what Trump would do in reaction to what ever he would do. After all Trump ordered a bomb dropped on Iran's top General. I don't see any other President doing that in the last 40 years.
Plus, he was on the verge of launching nukes and starting WW3 at any moment.

You guys need to pick a direction. Either Biden is weak to just do sanctions or Biden is getting us into a war we don't need to be in. As is, the GOPers here seem to bounce back and forth on which blame they want to engage in.
Right. Didn't Trump's America First doctrine stress non-interventionism? I don't understand where the belief that Trump would have countered this Russian attack with a military response is coming from.

What in hell is all your point in all this Trump stuff? See your countless posts all day in this thread about Trump? Is the narrative to be that this is all Trumps fault?

How much does diversity training take away from training for, as you put it, actual jobs? I mean, if its a few hours a year doesn't seem like it would matter much. I just don't know so am asking.
Death by power point. My friends have said more time in classes learning about non mission sensitive items than they do in any type of military training, classroom + range + infield time.

Reading comprehension is a big part of forums.

I never said I wouldn’t take one. I said they wouldn’t have to give the American people guns. We already have them.
Why would that be a qualifier on what our government would need to do?

It's very fair to suggest imo that Putin probably respected Trump more than he does Biden seeing as Putin didn't execute this invasion during Trump's presidency. Afraid isn't a good descriptor.
You need to read some Russian views on this. He did not respect Trump at all.

Thanks for asking. I'm a divorced and unemployed drunk who lives by himself with two kids who never visit or call anymore. But hey, I've still got my health (at least until my liver fails). LOL.

Sorry I called you a d***head earlier.
