War in Ukraine

I’ll ask them for specifics. All I do know is they both have complained a lot about it. One is Air Force, the other is Army.

1 minute is too much time spent on that BS. Taxpayers shouldn’t be funding any of that garbage ever.

WTH does Trump continue to be brought up in this thread? I mean, who's the sitting president, and who promised the nation that Putin didn't want him in office? Wasn't it the same person that promised to end the CV pandemic?
Remember when Biden screwed up the withdrawal from Afghanistan? They blamed Trump for that, too. It's what both sides do. If the next President is a Republican, any hiccups will be blamed on Biden. And so on and so forth. It's how we play politics in America. God forbid anyone be big enough to own their own screw ups. It might cost their party power.

Our country is so fawked.

You are right. It's not. However, Trump's praise of Putin from a few days ago is just flat out strange... but the right wants to believe that Putin is afraid of Trump. Why on earth would he be?
Have you ever heard of the old saying, "it's easier to catch flies with honey than vinegar?"

I blame it on cell phones and millennials.

The only way to assemble a worse group would be to add AOC and Rashida Tlaib.

What scares me is the consequence of the Afghan withdrawal debacle. Biden got hammered on it in the polls and even the MSM. He may try and overplay. Fact is Ukraine is a very corrupt nation and all manners of sources, including the Biden family have business dealings. I just find it so strange that Ukraine has been at the forefront for 3 years now regarding both sides of our political division.

You guys need to pick a direction. Either Biden is weak to just do sanctions or Biden is getting us into a war we don't need to be in. As is, the GOPers here seem to bounce back and forth on which blame they want to engage in.
Biden has decided not to use SWIFT against the Russians last I saw reported. So if he isn't going to use the harshest possible sanctions he can, it's fair to say he's being weak IMO. No one should want American boots on the ground. But don't speak about what crushing harsh sanctions you're going to impose then turnaround and take one of the harshest you could impose off the table.

Would our government even need to?

How many rifles could the US Citizenry bring to bear in an invasion?

Gotta be upwards of millions…

The problem is, I don't think we will ever be invaded unless we for some reason give up our nukes first.
