These are crippling sanctions they are applying right now. Not sure the Federation will survive these actions.

It was funny the first time. Less funny the third or fourth now.

Hitler was a pauper turned global dictator. Was he "savvy" and was his rise not mildly "genius"?
Now tell me how I praised Hitler and am complimenting him.
I honestly think it's time to call his bluff. We've been playing this game under republican and democrat admins for ages but the truth is that Putin isn't gonna nuke us and we're not gonna nuke him. Europe is too dependent on Russia's natural resources to make sanctions effective. The only choice we have is violence. I don't mean boots on the ground but there are other ways to engage. He's not going to de-escalate on his own and he's never going to give up on the plan to secure water access (Russia is landlocked) or his dream to rebuild the USSR.
That said, Putin won't drop a nuke and he won't risk too much. He is taking advantage of our fears but he values his wealth and his life. Punch him in the jaw with a damn rock in your hand and he will step the eff back.
What is your point? Per the transcript that you posted, Trump did in fact, heap praise on Putin. There's nothing to give up; I posted the transcript of Trump's remarks.
Explain, wiseguy, the conundrum of how Trump is simultaneously praising Putin while saying he'd have never done it during his term? Stand in the mirror and feel sorry for defending such nonsense, wittingly or not.
Putin is doing the 30s Hitler thing, and the idiot pacifists around the world don't see it...or they don't careHowever, Russia wants it to look. Poland is the only former state with the ability to defend itself. That said, Putin has tended to make acquisitions one state at a time. He will make Ukraine "Russian" after installing old loyalists and former despotic local leaders, suppressing local unrest and touting "Russian" natives, and the rest of us will scream before begrudgingly accepting it. A few years later or maybe months (Putin may hurry things along as he's getting older) he will invade a new target.
ETA: Belarus is already his, fwiw.
Yeah but I cant imagine the Ukrainians would leave a gap in their line. I am sure they arent fighting in the shadow of the reactor shield, but I would think there was some combat in the area.Seems like the exclusion zone would be an area that both sides would just say "nah, I'm good. You can have this one."
You are drawing a false equivalency.Hitler was a pauper turned global dictator. Was he "savvy" and was his rise not mildly "genius"?
Now tell me how I praised Hitler and am complimenting him.
lol......are you serious? Trump says "he'd have never done it during my term" and that's supposed to have relevance?
What are you, two?
Ok for the 5th time we get it. Trump burns your ass up. Chill and move on. Trump is no longer prez BB.You are drawing a false equivalency.
Trump did not praise Putin for his rise up the socio-economic ladder from pauper to state leader. Trump praised Putin for his justification of military aggression against the Ukraine.
An equivalent hypothetical scenario involving Adolf Hitler, would have been if FDR had praised Hitler for his invasion of Poland in 1939 as being a "savvy" maneuver.
Trump's comments were weird. I can't believe that you are defending him on this. You are making a fool of yourself.
