Canada's Truck Convoy to Protest Mandate

Legit question: Them blocking travel is causing economic injury to a lot of people. How about instead of that they gather in a park or something similar? Same message. Just not hurt innocent people to make whatever statement they think they are making.
Maybe because this is real to people and has real impact on their beliefs. I suppose sitting at say a Lafayette Square and pounding a drum would not be nearly as effective.
You haven't even seen what kind of power impact actual productive members of society can incur. These are not your CHAZers and Occupy Wall Streaters

Asked and answered.

Ah yes, the right to peaceful protest that doesn't inconvenience anyone. That's how things really get done!
Of course you believe they are hurting more innocent people than the govt. That's not really true and they are proving that with their ridiculous response

Think it through. By that logic if I want to protest Trump I should go sit in his living room and block his way in and out.

Not a question of more. It simply is not necessary to have their say to do it in that manner or lcation.

I object to where they are doing it and to them blocking commerce.
So you'd object to them not giving up their spot at a lunch counter or on a bus? Inconvenient and blocking commerce. Also, you can march just not in the street?

Here is a legit question. How many businesses and lives have been destroyed by Trudeaus lockdowns and mandates. I've heard stories of Canadians who aren't even allowed into grocery stores because they lack the proper "paperwork". At the end of the day, this all comes back on Trudeau.

If you somehow manage to evade the SS and get in Trumps living room...for heavens sake take a break and take a selfie on the golden toilet and drop the biggest turd you can muster.

Lol at “Economic injury”. You’re too dense to recognize the government is what caused the “economic injury” and has been the blame for over 2 years. These people are standing up against the idiotic liberal policies that you and luther love and you both have the nerve to suddenly complain about economic implications.

Did you offer this same solution to the protests in the US in 2020? Asking for a friend.

I know I'm probably way to obsessed with what's happening in Canada right now. (That's what my wife tells me) Canadians are literally fighting for their freedoms right now. It wouldn't surprise me at all if we are in their shoes in 10 years from now.

It won't take 10 years, more likely 2.

10 years? Sooner than that.

Lol. You sound just like the guys bitching about athletes taking a knee during the anthem.

“Hey! You guys go do that protesting some place else!”

They aren't blocking anyone from their usual activities. By the logic here, Kappernick and his fellow players around go outside the stadium and block the closest highway for weeks on end.

No. That’s just ridiculous.

Kapernick used his biggest platform, just like the truckers.
