‘23 CA QB Nicholaus Iamaleava (Tennessee)

But whenever Arch commits, the programs that lose out will immediately begin trying to flip a kid like this. Committed doesn't mean committed. If we get him in the boat, the staff has to keep him in the boat. I hope we get him, and I hope he sticks, but it would really suck to have him commit and then decommit to go elsewhere.
Highly rated QBs rarely flip like that, once they commit...they commit

From Rivals:

While Alabama and Texas seem to be the two primary schools duking it out over Manning, Georgia and Tennessee have their sights set on new five-star Nico Iamaleava. The Californian is rumored to be leaning toward signing with an SEC school or - if he decides to stay out West - Oregon or possibly UCLA.

The national champion Bulldogs have made Iamaleava a priority in this class and are hoping to get him on before he commits later this spring. The Vols have hosted him a couple times already and have built some strong relationships with him. Alabama is also heavily involved with Iamaleava, which, depending on Manning's decision, will be important to remember.

It’s simply false that UGA has made Nico a priority. Quite the opposite in fact- it’s Arch for them which is being pointed out by our coaches daily.

Just laughable that they would write that.

This is head to head with UGA and Bama… would be amazing IF we get him, because it screws one of the other two teams. I won’t hold my breath though

Wasn’t JG rated super high? Urban was legit hurt he chose UT and even subtweeted him, 😂

Technically HB was a 5* on one site but JG was actually recruited and wanted by big time schools
JG was in the 70s or 80s. Same as Salter. HB ended up #99 on the dot.

We ain' t getting a recruit over Georgia...sayonara
I don't know why not. History and GA QBs vs two completely different types of Offenses.
Look at this past year should tell you that the QB position is always up for Grabs.
GA has a history of Wasting QBs.
This kid is not traveling cross country to have to look over his shoulder or to ride the pine.
