I've seen stories of the dogs dying from it

I have too. I've seen some that curled my toes. I've seen others that glamorize the dogs life and say they love it. I expect it's somewhere in the middle with a few really bad stories. Like everything else in life. I've seen stories and pictures of shelters that were as bad as anything I've ever seen.

But I get it.

I'm still fascinated by the race. The man and dogs that finish that race ain't playing around.
