Initially, I was against the parents getting sued and charged with crimes, but then more and more came out and it was very clear they knew had serious mental issues and still bought him the gun. They absolutely deserve everything they get. They aren’t remotely innocent.

I agree they should be charged. When it first happened I was screaming charge the parents. But the more I think about it, does it create a slippery slope? I mean what if my child takes my car and causes an accident. Its not the same, but I can see a DA trying to set an example

I was exact opposite. I was screaming charge them. The evidence is there now but now I'm wondering if its going to set off a bigger chain reaction.

If you buy your 12 yr old autistic kid a car and give him the keys and joke with him about it and then tell him to cover it up when he wrecks yes you should be charged. Similar case here

They provided a kid that ls legally unable to own a gun virtually unlimited access to it. No different than me selling a known felon a gun.

The car analogy is kind of interesting. I mean with Luther’s line of thing someone can steal your car and hit someone going 120 mph that kills them. Now the victim’s family can sue the car manufacturer because they shouldn’t make vehicles that go 120 mph.

Do you know who will?
Keep the death grip on those alternative facts that allow you to justify your sad and bitter outlook. What else can you do?

My outlook isn’t sad or bitter. It’s based on facts. The Carter presidency was an abject failure and his politics were your role model growing up because you were misguided. And yes there is not a “ranking” anywhere that doesn’t list Carter in the bottom percent of presidencies. And the fact you excuse him using racism as a political stunt in his early election in GA shows you also to be a hypocrite

How about you link a few lists. I guarantee Carter isn't in the bottom 10% of any of them and that Trump is in the bottom 10% of all of them.
