Watch a YouTube video, learn to do things for yourself. Raw materials for that project weren't expensive.

If you make a mistake, it's no big deal.

We don't make mistakes. We just have happy accidents"

I did, and did it for myself. I showed you the picture.

When we buy our forever home Ill do the dry stack. Or do the mason thing. As for now, we have a great area that if three small kids destroy it, it aint not thing.

Added value to the yard, looks good. In our neighborhood, you dont need super nice things. Ive spent N of $25K on decking and additions including privacy fencing, and DIY landscaping. A neighbor gave us a used fort/playset. Which we stripped, power washed and hand stained.

Great area.

It's a very nice setup. All that matters is that ya'll enjoy it. Sounds like you are.

Not as exciting a video as the last, but this has to be one of the most absurd things ever done. Up there with free soloing El Cap. I mean, 25% of climbers die trying to ascend/descend K2. The camera angle can't even do justice to how steep and treacherous this is. You can just tell this professional is thoroughly concerned and extremely cautious. To put it into context of Everest:

Pretty much every ranking of national parks I've seen that was done by more than a single individual has Grand Teton ranked higher than Yellowstone. In fact, you're not alone in your opinion of Yellowstone; there are typically many ranked higher than it is. I don't agree, but a lot of people aren't as impressed with it as much as they are with many other parks. Again, it all depends on what you like.
See...I don't think that is even fair though, the Tetons, Beartooth and Absarokas are all considered parts of "The Greater Yellowstone ecosystem"...I think of it as one giant park, of which the Tetons and Jackson Hole are just my favorite part of that giant park.

If they had combined them long ago like they considered and should have, then everybody would think Yellowstone-Grand Teton National Park is the greatest in the country..but they didn't, so you get these stupid comparisons.

If you witness Yellowstone Falls you know.

In Utah we visited Arches, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Zion, and Bryce Canyon. We enjoyed Zion but a few things were closed.

By far Bryce Canyon was our favorite. Amazing hikes and rock formations and views. I didn't expect that.
If you have 4 wheel drive both canyon lands and arches are amazing as well. There are so many places off the main trail in both. I was in arches one may and went to the opposite side of the park on a dirt road. I hiked and even ate lunch sitting in a big arch and didn’t see anyone the whole 8 hrs. On the opposite side of the park, people were lined up trying to hike to delicate arch. Canyon lands is very much the same way. Rent a four wheel drive vehicle and you can go to places and never see another person.

CRB’s retirement plan? 😳
Either that, or celebratory fruits of the Big 12 championship in '99 ;)
"Barnes was hired by Texas in April 1998, and the basketball program immediately displayed his impact. Despite playing with just seven scholarship players for the majority of the 1998–99 season and opening the season with a 3–8 record, the Longhorns won 16 of their final 21 games, winning the regular season Big 12 conference championship by a two-game margin, and finishing the year at 19–13 and qualifying for the NCAA Tournament."
