Yes - downright embarrassing to some Tennessee fans. I wish some posters would calm down before they post. I realy wish everyone had to pretend that they're speaking face-to-face with whomever they're posting about.

I wanted Brown because Kiffin specifically went after him. It was a pride thing for me, pure and simple.

I hope Marlon gets the attention he's looking for in Georgia. He sure seems to like it. We had another one that liked attention. What was his name.....Washington? Kelly?

Oh well, UGA is going down the same road as Tennessee did. They are becoming a middle of the road team in the SEC. Hope Marlon has fun watching those 10-2 teams turn into 7-5 teams, and don't say it cannot happen with all that talent; as 2005 proved it most surely can.

i just received a text that Marlon said on Vernons show that the reason he didn't sign was because of something with coach O. He wouldn't get in to specifics he just made that comment.

He is not, never was, and never will be a great player. Too slow (don't give me All-American game) and runs terrible routes. I have seen him play too many times to think different. The level of talent in D2 2A is great (d2 1A is TERRIBLE). He is not that good of a player! Get over it. If he is the best the state of Tennessee has....Lord help TSSAA!

My opinion is that he didn't sign because his "girlfriend" had the biggest influence on where he went, and no one can convince me otherwise.

The only thing that matters is that we didn't get him. Everyone knew he was our main target and we couldn't land him. Game over. While this class definitely had its high points, MB defined whether it would be a success or not. It was not. But Jacques brings hope for next year. Let's just hope we don't get killed on the field.

I think we need to stop getting so upset over Marlon Brown. Who knows what kind of college player he turns out to be? He could be a total bust. I've learned that 4*'s, 5*s, etc. doesn't really mean a whole lot in most cases. There are exceptions though, but I'm not convinced this guy is going to be that great.
