On a side note. Have any of you been saying a little prayer for a member on here and had to chuckle because all you know them by is their screen name? He knows who they are so the thoughts will land where they are supposed to, but I always wonder if some of the goofy things we do give God a chuckle.

I wonder how Saban and Kirby would feel about him being there. I would think it would irk them to no end and could possibly benefit us. I vote Kiffin or Butch.

That is where we are headed, only it won't just be one person, if you say anything out of line with their wacko fruitcake beliefs, you will be ruined.

Kiffin is a lot of things, if not ambitious. However, he is not stupid enough to take the Auburn job. It will take him at least 2-3 years to get back to where he has Ole Miss now. They appear to be a nightmare to deal with on the booster side. The only thing Kiffin is leaving for is a Top 10 program that's dishing out big time NIL cash.

Wouldn't shock me to see Auburn try to go grab there own Offensive guy.You got Texas A&M,Bama,Miss St all play offenses that have advanced past what Auburn traditionally likes to run.If they could find their own Lebby,Heupel,Kiffin play caller ,D coordinator shouldn't be difficult.They understand the future is dim,their becoming Kentucky of the West honestly...

I doubt Kiffin will go there but a hire like Kendall Briles makes a lot of sense…

I hate Auburn,if not for the fact they have self imploded lately and won't skip a beat.Just saying seems they always recruit and play tuff D,just their offenses have lacked.They will hire a Briles or someone similar,bring back Steele or a decent named D coordinator,hell might sling a stack at Gardner to come back.Within 1 or 2 years they'll be more competitive than us.Im just being realistic with it,certain teams just have that prowess about them..

I couldn't recall it all, but I remember there was a short reveal.

I could be wrong, but I feel like he's got a few schools on his list that he'd leave for.

Miami, Oregon are/were on that list. I'd say Ohio State and maybe Michigan could also be on that list. Wouldn't surprise me if a few other Florida/west coast jobs are on his list.

I might be in the minority, but I actually think he likes it in Oxford and will stay there a while.

They can have Gardner, but I doubt they're getting Garner back.

Kiffin just brought in a highly rated RB and QB through the portal. It seems unlikely to me that he'd jump ship to a very unstable Auburn program in need of a rebuild.

Yeah, that's why I think he's got a short list and likely isn't as quick to bail as people think. I'm not even sure another job in the SEC would be enough to pull him...maybe Bama, but would he be dumb enough to try and follow Saban?

Then I remember he was dumb enough to leave Knoxville for USC with their pending NCAA issues...
