It’s a pretty common opinion to have. You’d have to live in an echo chamber to not know people actually do believe that ruining someone’s life for a joke is ridiculous

What is sad and infuriating is how so many people justify this .

Sooner or later the heads running the world now will get around to destroying something or somebody they care about...but it will be too late.

Seem like yesterday to me. A big strong man whittled down to nothing and couldn’t even stand on his own at the last.

Choked up reading that. Not ashamed.

It still hits me the same way all these years later.

My younger brother dedicated much of his free time and work life to holocaust education in his school system. He raised enough money from community donations to take hundreds of young people in his poor rural county to DC over the past 27 years and created a college scholarship fund for the kids who volunteered in the program. Many children from his county have college degrees today because of his tireless work. He’s my hero.
