Did you guys see where Mark Lye got fired from Sirius for basically saying he didn't like Womens Basketball?

Freedom is dead.

I mean...he said a bit more than that to be fair though.

But even then what he did say isn't something I'd say justified being fired, no clue what happened to freedom of speech. Sheesh

Quick story about the holocaust museum in DC:

My brother is an educator who has some influence in the Jewish world because of project he did several years ago. When the Holocaust museum opened in Washington DC, he was invited to tour with a few other prominent people connected to Holocaust education. The premise behind the museum is you're given a card with the name and background of a Jewish person in the holocaust. You're then 'lead' through the museum as events unfolded before and during the war. At the end of the tour, you find out whether the person on your card lived or died. I'm not sure if that's how the museum is structured now but that's how it was when it opened.

On my brother's tour during the 'opening', he was given a card and lead through the museum individually by an older lady. She told him about the construction of the museum, the events surrounding the war, and other tidbits about the Jewish existence during this time. At the end, he observed other people finishing the tour being told about the person on their card. He gently asked the older lady if the person on his card lived or died. She said:

"I lived"

Wow.

They did not do that at Yad Vashem, but it was a timeline progression of the lead up to war through the end of the war. Scattered throughout they had videos playing of interviews with survivors, so you were able to hear in their words while looking at the exhibits. By the end, you are just emotionally spent.

And at the very end they drop you into multistory circular room (Hall of Names) containing a catalog of each person killed (over 4.5 million names). I was good until then.

And then I wasn't.

To be even more fair, he can say that all day every day on his own platform without repercussions. I am not saying that I would make the same decision, but he doesn't have freedom from consequences with regard to his employer.

So he didn’t want company on the elevator, stopped the guy, guy slapped his hand away and one of AKs boys shoved him. And then guy doesn’t remember it. I don’t think AK would do that. But a drunk, over-protective body guard probably would.

Edit: nevermind read the rest of the report… AK said he chased him down himself and decked him a couple times lol.

Quick reminder to never talk with the police. It cannot help you. Wait until you have a lawyer.

Sure, but it's talk radio you're legit paying these people to share their opinions.

That really wasn't the initial discussion. But, I would venture to say that most employers don't want some of their talk show hosts discussing whatever they feel like. There is no doubt some topics to avoid and some that generate more listeners than others.

Caller on Finebaum just said he has a BoT source, claiming it's going to be Freeze.
They are just like our situation. Can't fire a raging a****** and possibly cheater (personally), then turn around and hire Hugh freakin Freeze.

They'll have to go with a "nice guy". If they are LUCKY it will work out as well as it is for us.

Honestly I like the idea of a respectable human being as your coach...one that builds real relationships. You can still be a tough coach without being a sociopathic jerk. People seem to lose sight of this.

Just got a text from the Church Group, said Soda is still not feeling good. And they’ve taken her dad to the hospital with heart problems. I’m sure she’s concerned about him on top of what she’s dealing with.
Man, when it rains, it pours. Praying for the entire family

Have been there three times. I taught 5th grade Social Studies last year and showed the kids the cards I was given and the pictures I’ve taken. They kids were almost mesmerized looking at things.
