Very interesting how opinions are so subjective based on who’s water you are carrying.. when Trump suggested that we do more of this , the liberals were screeching from the roof tops about nationalism and tribalism . I’m not seeing these same ones posting yet about this yet .

Of course we knew they were lying. The only ones that didn't believe it put their heads in the sand or didn't want the truth to come out. We never supposed to leave Americans behind, but they did.

In the meantime in the US we've shut down nuclear plants that were basically complete, and stopped construction on many others. The ones that are operating are mostly running on extended licenses. PLEX (plant life extension) was the hot topic when I left the nuclear power industry in the 90s. Sure hope those sample surveillance holder tubes in the reactors hold enough samples for Charpy testing to know how the radiation embrittlement issue is going. As far as those unfinished reactors, you could probably continue with the existing hardware that hasn't been salvaged, but the electronics are completely obsolete and would have to be gutted and replaced - meaning a completely new license for the plant. Greenies and the "wizards" figuring how we go forward from here to produce reliable power are apparently clueless. Nukes do it all night - solar doesn't - and sometimes the wind doesn't work out; hard to be in control when you can't control some things.

The sad part is that it wasn't just the dems that were unhappy with Trump tariffs. We aren't a very enlightened society - or one that considers long range consequences, otherwise we'd have damned globalism and offshoring industry from the start.

On Friday, the State Dept announced another step at an attempt to resurrecting the Iran Nuclear Deal. The move lifts sanctions on what is known as "civ-nuke" waivers. This Idiot-in-Chief has got to be the dumbest & the worse ever POTUS in our lifetime & into the future.
Potato Head Biden continues to fall all over himself to get into Iran's good graces of which there is none to fall into. This dummy thinks otherwise. They still call out "death to America".
