President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

No you shouldn't talk like a middle schooler trying to hit 500 words on their paper. It's nonsense and he's a con artist. He's all marketing

The wall was another grift. It was a Maginot line without a real immigration policy yet he wanted nothing to do with that.

It wasn't the swamp it was Trump signing off on untraceable slush funds for his friends. It was criminal

There actually is one big immigration reform that needs to take place. We need to join most of the rest of we world in eliminating citizenship by place of birth - a kid needs to be a citizen of the country/countries of the parents, and not by virtue of where the mother was when the kid was born. That eliminates the anchor baby issue which is one thing spurring illegal immigration.

We do not have a policy that addresses the need for workers or one that addresses the ones already here

There are multiple policies for seasonal workers and for "special needs" - like when you don't want to pay professionals like engineers what they are worth. If they don't work, blame congress; they got some nice kickbacks while writing the legislation. Part two of that is that in the 90s when engineers were dumped for foreign imports, the word went out - why work hard for a degree that has no longevity. EEs at one point were getting trashed in their 30s so that employers were able to sidestep age discrimination.

This isn't about engineers it's about construction, crop picking, meat processing, etc. We do not have the rules in place to help those industries

He had a gop Congress. His inability to work with that is on him and his very painful and drawn out transition

Where have I ever said to sit on their hands? They need to make real immigration reform that addresses those here and the real labor needs. If anything, the useless wall is simply more of the same inaction to address the issue

If you believe a lot of congress (Ryan, Romney, and a whole host of others) were friendly because they had an R behind the name, I'd love to see your definition of who would be classified as an enemy. Trump had a lot of inside vs outside problems that were probably more damaging than R vs D problems.

Wait until the big corporations figure out that these lazy that want to work from home can be replaced from someone in India or Brazil, suddenly there are no jobs or income for the locals, forget about the blue collar jobs for migrants.

There are decades old rules for migrant farm labor. Maybe if dems would quit talking up college for everybody and recognize the need for blue collar workers, the rest wouldn't be a problem. Hard to get workers when employers are competing with government handouts, too. If you aren't going to starve, why work?

there is not enough "legal" labor to do the work needed. Building a border monument does not solve that major issue

Dems need to do something? The GOP isn't doing anything either. It's because both sides pretend to care while benefiting from the divide. You're buying the political spin

No I'm not buying the quoted unemployment rate. Get rid of handouts and safety nets and see what actually happens. Quit talking about saving people from self induced educational debt, and encourage education that actually leads to a job - both blue and white collar.

You continue to avoid the issue while using on the meaningless "handouts" talking point. We do not have the labor to fill the jobs that are currently being done with illegal labor. Education has nothing to do with that

Tom Cotton Pledges to Block Biden's DOJ Nominees Over 'Refusal' to Defend U.S. Marshalls Sued in BLM Riots

GOP Sen. Tom Cotton (AR) on Monday vowed to block the Department of Justice's nominees over claims that the Biden administration may not be representing U.S. Marshalls facing lawsuits for their actions in defending the Portland federal courthouse during the 2020 Black Lives Matter riots.

In a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland, Cotton said he was made aware that the DOJ may not be funding the defense for the "courageous officers" who were "attacked by left-wing street militias with weapons such as mortar fire, ball bearings, and blinding lasers."
