Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

As long as your hospital or practice is getting their pockets lined.

Not at you and more of a jab at how stupid
hospitals are.

A massive myth. Major hospitals aren't making money off this. They are having to stop elective surgeries etc. My SIL is on the C-Suite of a major hospital. She's taken a beating in bonus compensation since Covid hit.

If you want to say a majority of the people at those protests didn’t participate then that’s fine and I won’t argue otherwise. But it’s beyond disingenuous, it’s certifiably false, to say that the majority of the major city BLM protests didn’t involve mass levels of violence and destruction even if committed by a minority of the participants. If there’s only 5 out of 5,000 striking the matches that doesn’t negate the fact that the matches were still lit and dropped.
I never qualified "major city". I said the majority of BLM protests.
But now I will qualify: the majority of major city BLM protests were peaceful - take Atlanta as the prime example.
They probably had 50 major protests. Maybe 2 or 3 turned violent or destructive.

That might be true, but hospitals in general are getting additional funds for covid deaths and or patients. That is 100% true.

Think that through logically. So the people who make all the major decisions at hospitals are willing to lose money for themselves to propagate this? Come on. No. They make more money when the hospital makes more money. Yes the hospital gets paid for the Covid crap. But it's dwarfed by what they usually make. You think the government pays more then private insurance on things like knee replacements? They don't. Medicare is a not a big money maker for hospitals. This isn't either. It's a loser for them.

Hospitals can’t operate for two years making penny’s on the dollar, since their historical revenues “dwarfs” covid revenues. That is a flat out lie. Where is the money coming from then?

Hca seems to be doing well. Actually, most publicly traded healthcare organization are doing good. Call it cutting cost or whatever you want, but the fact remains, the government and insurance companies have paid big dollars for COVID-19 patients. To state otherwise goes against the financial data available to you and I.

Rogan addressing the controversies, worth a listen whether you love him or hate him.

This is why I listen to Joe Rogan. This guys is so far removed from having any kind of agenda that this whole controversy makes zero sense. Everyone who has never listened to him and thinks he should be removed must listen to this.

The major cities are all that matter because the smaller cities/towns weren’t going to draw any attention anyway and they got shut down quick by mayors and sheriffs/police chiefs that didn’t pander to the SJW. In my area of the world, Huntsville, AL tried to start one at night (why?) and within less than an hour the streets were cleared and everyone was gone because local gov’t wasn’t willing to chance it turning ugly.

I watched this last night and think it is highly reasonable and mature. Today I see a story about it in the WSJ and they highlight him saying his podcast has "gotten out of control". While he did say those specific words they were not his message. This type of reporting about his podcast is why people like Young get all judgy.

Yep, and I’m seeing it first hand with my kid. The “look at me” and “virtue signaling” drama is past being just an annoyance at this point, it’s contributing to real damage to my kid.
It's not surprising that the "think of the children" crowd dont actually look at the data. All we have done to "protect" the children has been far worse for them than the disease itself. You would think the Karen's would be all over that information. But not a word.

I would like to think that history won't look kindly to the crimes against humanity that have occurred over the past couple years/continue to occur related to COVID. However, the people writing the history books will probably celebrate everything that has happened.

I'm just trying to think about how this will be viewed 100 years from now.
