Out of the blue Question. What's going on with Men's BBALL recruiting? It doesn't seem promising. Read an article yesterday listing 'all Americans' coming in to the conference. Two going to Alabama. Two going to Kentucky. Zero coming to Tennessee.

Mostly based on the number of scholarships available and who is returning. Read around in the BBall forum for more info.

I'm not angry at all lol. My point is that it wouldn't be beneficial to Tennessee. We're just gonna take our roster deficit and claim it's a penalty, when it's clearly just a roster deficit no different than any other team that fires their coach.

Reminds me of Bubbles in TPB. "You don't think the cops are really stupid enough to fall for this do ya Ricky?" lol.

Now you know if they wanted to add extra players they could have. They probably would if a player met a need. I don’t really understand the self imposing stuff, but I believe some of this was on purpose to meet that ban they put in place.

What do y’all think about NFL this weekend?

Vegas doesn’t seem to be afraid of the bengals money for them to go back to 7.5 this late in week. Lot of points but something tells me Chiefs cover that in a revenge game from the road loss to bengals this year.

Also hanging the 3.5 hook for Niners despite Niners winning 6 straight vs Rams. Niners system is built to beat rams but man it is hard to beat a talented rival 3 times in same season. It’s not really a rams home game. Niners packed SoFi last time. If the teams had split regular season I’d already have jumped on Niners. Only hesitation is the trifecta in one season

Currently, we only have one scholarship to give for the upcoming class and that went to the guard from Knoxville. We gave 8 scholarships last year and that's unheard of when you can only have 13 on the team.

He still wants to coach and that is the only reason he is considering the job. My source is as solid as you can get. He said they are having to come up with some money to help him purchase a house on the Mountain Jasper Highlands. The development by Thunder Thornton.

So, if it's all about family, why is he negotiating so hard about mowing grass and getting extra money to live up there?

That's possible. But if that's the case, that's a very real penalty. There were a lot of quality players in the portal. Which is just fodder for the people who think we shouldn't be taking any penalty at all.

I'm just skeptical of the idea we are trying to have our cake and eat it too by declaring any and all open roster spots as part of a self imposed penalty. I think that's silly.
