‘Your great-great-great-grandchildren will Still be getting immunized against coronavirus’: This Mayo Clinic doctor says it’s too late to eradicate COVID-19

‘We are not yet at any stage where we could predict endemicity,’ said Dr. Gregory Poland, a vaccinologist at the Mayo Clinic

As the pandemic enters Year 3, many people are wondering if and when COVID-19, the disease caused by SARS-CoV-2, will become endemic. Endemic refers to the observed level of a disease — or the baseline predictable level with seasonal fluctuations like the flu — whereas a pandemic is typically a global public health emergency with an unpredictable level of illness and/or death.

That is a long way off, and COVID-19 will always be with us, Dr. Gregory Poland, who studies the immunogenetics of vaccine response at the Mayo Clinic, told MarketWatch and Barron’s in a live video interview on Wednesday.

Measles, a highly contagious airborne virus spread through coughing and sneezing, serves as a good point of comparison. It is a stable virus and does not change, with no variants. As such, measles has — for the most part — been eradicated in the U.S.

Dad now has covid, he’s 75 or 76 (can’t remember) said he feels like he has the flu but of course still working as much as he can. He and mom are taking Ivermectin, don’t know if it’s helping him but so far mom doesn’t have symptoms.
If he had the vaccine instead of ivermectin then people would be saying, see the vaccine works!

By then, it will have mutated in to something not requiring a shot. Those great, great, great grandchildren needs to worry about the new manmade bioweapon released during the election year.

Covid 19 and the handling of it will go down in history as one of the greatest crimes against humanity. Those pushing the vaccine mandates and disparaging those that did not embrace the insanity of this debacle will hide in shame.

I would like to believe this, but since the left controls the media, I'd say the opposite will be the case. Those who refused vaccination or questioned mandates will be lumped in with Qanon

Fox News is mainstream but not liberal and smokes every other television news source in ratings. Local channels are likely either controlled by Gannett or Sinclair, which are both staunchly conservative. Conservative talk radio is extremely popular.

Tell me again how the "left" has such a tight control on the "media".

my local news isn’t conservative and this is East Tennessee.

And I'm not being daft. I haven't watched a local news cast in likely a decade or more. How can candy sales and kittens in trees lean a certain way?

One of the most vaxxed populations on this planet. If you’re making policies based on case counts, you’re a moron. Hospitalized because of Covid should be the metric that matters.

I think at this point it's pretty obvious to anybody who is capable of critically thinking for themselves as to what's going on.

Sen. Ron Johnson’s team just published a 40 min highlight reel from the roundtable on Monday. Anybody who missed it check it out. These are real doctors and nurses speaking out. There are more doctors (17,000 plus) in the American Frontline Doctors (AFLDS) then there are doctors and scientists in the NIH and the CDC combined. The NIH has 1,345 credentialed physicians, dentists, and PhD researchers. 840 staff in nursing and patient care/support services. The CDC has approximately 1700 scientists

It is on YouTube and Rumble as well.

A highlight reel that has all the impartiality of a Bama game highlight reel produced by UA Athletics.

I am having trouble finding evidence to corroborate the claim of 17000 doctor members of the organization. Their own website does not even provide this information.

This group is a shell organization for another group. Hint: the parent group is registered only in Arizona and is not medical in nature.
