Caught a little bit of the first iron man before the nfl game just started. Seems like a sharp guy, probably had a legendary father or something. Hard on himself, I hope he settles down, maybe with his secretary or something (but she has to be strong too). Could totally see him developing AI that become sentient beings, good or bad, and inspiring a younger generation's hero. Seems like that kind of guy. Just hope he isn't forced to make a tough decision around family and stability once he finds it. That would be hard if it comes to that.

Still trying to figure out when he's gonna learn how to speak Chinese AND learn how to snap (like in that gif someone posted), but I guess there are a lot of movies so we'll see.

Tannehill with a good to very good OC is serviceable. Hell worse QB's have won championships than Tannehill. The issue is when you pair Tannehill with a mediocre at best OC..... This is the result.

I'm fine with getting rid of Tannehill for what it's worth, but it'll be all for not as long as Vrabel keeps Downing, Vrabel went to his own well too many times.

That’s why I think we need to slow the Bama and Georgia talk down…. Get back to where dominate the 2nd tier teams and below before taking that next step….We have an excellent opportunity to take a step against Florida this year….. we need to step on their throat while they are trying to build back up.

Exactly....I remember the days when the last 4 games were a weak Out of Conference, Ole Miss, Kentucky, and Vandy. UT dominated the month of November for years.

Complete opposite. He partially did it because it was early. Wouldn't have done it in the 4th obviously. You value the lead, by any margin, LATER in games.

Early on, the value is margin and increasing odds of winning, ultimately. Ie say both teams score 2 more TDs the rest of the game...you're still up by 2 and they can't make it up by going for 2 late. Just as an example, but overall margin is more important early and far less late.

It was also from the 1 with DH. You'd have to be nuts to think he doesn't make it more than 50% of the time. It was a super standard call.

Exactly. It's ALL about being from the 1. You take the average rate of success from the 2 @ 48% to 66% from the 1. 68% when rushing. Now add in the #1 short yardage offense. They must've been 75%+. Would be crazy not to take the low hanging added EV.

I feel like if this team can progress as much in year two and the did this past year we can be competitive in every game we play. I’m not gonna say we will dominate Bama or Georgia or even saying we are winning, but Kiffin butch and even cornbread had Bama against the ropes. I feel more confident with this staff than either of the other three.
Dooley was just a shade above a helpless infant. God only knows how he got that job.

Right… except the problem (beyond just the “well, it didn’t work” part) is- in this case, I just don’t think the 2 points would have impacted the game at all (compared to the made PAT), so in my mind, it was unlikely to end up being “a great call,” even if it worked… and the cost of not having the PAT was likely to, and ultimately did (in my opinion), impact the game.

Listen to your wife. If I even think blood clot, I rule it out. Deadly dangerous in the thigh…go get it checked out ASAP please.

May simply be a quad strain, but those don’t potentially kill you.

The way I see it: A great OC can scheme around Tannehill's weaknesses. A great QB can mask Downing's weaknesses.

You have to fix at least one of those. Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers may be available this offseason.
