Get ready. It's going to happen. Just like it happens in pro sports. If players are being paid, some will not make as much, and they'll want more. Banks probably sees the cash that Baron is getting and he wants his.I spoke with my rep and will be making my annual donation soon. But if these guys like Banks hit the portal for more money, I am out. I love the Vols but the main reason I go to these games is to make memories with my son who is in high school. Why should my hard money go to this crap if players are just going to leave because it is all about the money. Why should we be loyal to them if they are just mercenaries like the coaches. I am really getting jaded when I hear guys we have helped who would not have careers and have represented the University poorly want to leave because the money is not enough. My son and I talked it over. 50 yard line west side seats or not will be coming available if these guys like Banks do what they do. And I will not support it any longer. I am about to the breaking point with this crap and McGill is right. Paying five figure donations is not worth it.
YeahThey miss on recruits because recruits change their mind, or because things change, not because they were wrong. Matt literally filmed Water's commitment video to UT. Was he wrong when he said that Walter was leaning UT? No. But Walter went to A&M anyway.
Swain was speaking factually about things he knew to be true. He was not speaking figuratively. Supercuts came on here and stirred up problems based upon his lies. He was called out for it by VQ and by his boss, he is now gone.
I think they're gonna fear OU, Texas, and ATM more than anyone else in the conference. Evidently, Texas has no cap on NIL rules. So status quo. Last 15 years, the paying schools have been bama, uga, and ohio state.
clemson jumped in too.
Now that it’s more legal, there may or may not be a shift. May just be additions.
bama and uga are upset because they didn’t have to pay as much when others were scared of getting caught. My hope is that NIL will hurt them so much that they drop down a tier.
Very few coaches in NFL have to deal with money. Every college staff member is now having to deal with it.
Should I be concerned when I have similar issues that my wife says to just rub some dirt on it and you'll be fine?
Banks can kick it with Antonio Brown and the other ungrateful azzholes if he leaves when he would be on street if he wasn’t given another chance. What business you expect going to invest in you with videos talking about kill cops and ****
He was happy. That was last spring at my nephews wedding. Although he was too weak to stand with the wedding party, he was so proud if his grandson's accomplishments. He was dependent on oxygen then but I'm happy that the photographer removed it for the picture. That's the first thing I did was take that thing off when he passed.Your dad looks really good in that avi. He looks like a happy and fulfilled man. You can see the kindness in his face. Sorry for your loss but you will see him again. What a great reunion that will be.
Listen, Jeremy Banks is a solid player, and I’m happy to have him on this team. But, he is NOT a guy we should let hold us hostage over NIL. It’s like negotiating with terrorists. If you give in once, who is to say another player on this roster doesn’t immediately threaten to leave if he doesn’t get a bigger piece of the pie. Where does it end?
I’m definitely in the boat that we need to fix our NIL issues long-term, but I don’t like the idea of letting players put their own team’s feet to the fire.
