Nah it’s better for European nations to show that they will actually defend their own interests instead of constantly relying on the US unless completely necessary, we aren’t there yet and I have zero confidence they will contribute much of anything

We are more impacted by what the Biden admin is doing IMO...

Say Russia overtakes Ukraine....what is the implication of that to our lives? Current Little trade...what else? Gas/Oil would be one helluva of an excuse by the CCers.

I will tell you that I don't find it very coincidental that Vindman is on TV talking about the greatest war on continental Europe since WW2.

MSNBC is promoting him! 3 years ago no one gave a rats ass about Ukraine.

I could give a damn about perceived weakness/saving face. WTF are we trying to impress or intimidate? Who cares what the Brits or the Frogs have to say and if Russia really had an itch to go to war with us, they wouldn't have to gain a single square inch of land in Europe since they have ICBMs they could launch at any time.

But the Russians have been invading, conquering, and empire building for 1000 years. Russian Empire was one of the largest in history.

This is kinda what they do.

You do realize we turned away tens of thousands of Jews trying to immigrate to the US during the late 1930’s and early 1940’s? World War 2 was a very just war but we can’t be the World’s police force and we didn’t have many issues ignoring genocide post WW2 in Cambodia, Rwanda, and Sudan. The fact is that other very capable nations need to doing their share of the heavy lifting

I desire a military that strikes fear among anyone it faces and to use it anytime American interests are threatened. It is a voluntary assignment. If you sign up you need to anticipate being used.

What do you call demanding Germany not accepting LNG from Norde Stream 2 when the Germans and Russians got together and cut this mutually beneficial deal?

What about setting up camp in Northeast Syria and just robbing Syria at the regions oil facilities there?

What about starving countries with sanctions and forcing them to not be able to trade for goods using the reserve currency?
