Noah Cain very well may be ruined goods. He had a legit injury his SO year and gained a god awful 3.3 YPC last year. I mean...that is really really bad.Yep they’re best pick ups so far are this Missouri player and Noah Cain
Edit: this Missouri LB sucks. 27 tackles for the year. Had 2 solo tackles against us this year
Against UGA HH was 24/37 - 244 yds. More than any QB against UGA that did not win a Heisman. Against Bama HH was 19/28 - 282 yds.
Not mind blowing numbers, but Stetson Bennett went 17/29 - 213 yds against us, for comparison. Hooker wasn't even close to being the problem in those games.
On the year, Hooker threw for 3000 yards, 31 Touchdowns, and only 3 interceptions, and added 616 on the ground.
3 interceptions on 303 attempts.
Check out the last TD pass to Tillman in the corner of the endzone against UK. Or any of these throws - - There are tons of throws into tight coverage.
And most completed passes ever in history are the result of receivers being schemed open, or busted coverage. There is the occasional perfect throw against perfect coverage, but no more or less for HH than any other QB.
If you are just looking for something to complain about, there are plenty of options. QB play is not one of them.
He certainly missed some shots that game...Hooker didn't have a good game during the bowl and normally, I'd say that was what was tainting his opinion but considering the poster you're responding to, that's just how he is.
I hadn’t paid attention to their losses? Anyone good?
- Dwight McGlothern- 4 star; transferred to Arkansas; was expected to be their only starting CB to return
- Eli Ricks- 5 star CB; transferred to Bama
- Navonteque Strong- #1 Juco LB last year; played in rotation; hasn’t announced
- Landon Jackson- Top 125 national DL; was just a freshman but transferred to Arkansas
- They are getting hit hard at WR: 5 have transferred or are in portal and at least 3 are former 4 stars; 4th was top player in Mississippi
Devonta Lee, Alex Adams, Trey Palmer, Koy
Moore, and Deion Smith…Palmer to
Nebraska, Smith to Akron, and I think the
other 3 are undecided
They also lost Stingley, their best CB that replaced Stingley and Ricks (Flott), their MLB, their best DT, their #1 RB, their WR who played QB in the bowl game, and two OL to either the NFL or out of eligibility.

Oh I agree! I lived in Miami for 3 long years & hated it. But different strokes for different folks - just saying there's other reasons to choose or not choose a job change than just the actual job.Not me. Too much crime in Miami. Not worth the hassle.
The mountains are very nice around Fayetteville.
I have to say that the ground level “ luxury box” is the dumbest thing ever. At some venues, they are located where the team totally blocks your view…
Wow. This really is the new normal isn't it? Roster management going to make it impossible to follow as a whole. We can barely keep up with our Big Orange. Going to make preseaon predictions even more meaningless.
Josh Heupel looks back at first season with Vols after winning coaching award
Just read this article. Coach Josh Heupel is an actual Tennessee Football Coach! He is cut from the same cloth as the great coaches. I truly believe that he will do great things for the Tennessee Volunteers! I am all kinds of fired up. He speaks truthfully and plainly. He is the kind of Coach that parents should want their son to play for. He will instill good values and a winning mentality. He understands Tennessee Volunteer football. I hope that he is the coach here until he retires as the winningest coach in Tennessee history. I see great things in store with him at the helm.
Maybe just a little fired up right now.
15-0 to infinity…![]()
