I'm not getting a watch, I'm loving mine. In fact, I've decided that solar Garmin isn't for me. I'm gonna keep this one until the new one comes out. I finally ended up with the 4 Classic 46mm and other than the battery issue, which hasn't been an issue yet, it's perfect for what I need and use it for.So I’m out of the loop and I don’t want to trigger TFG. What watch are you getting now @Behr?
How do you feel about Dale's seasoning?I'm not getting a watch, I'm loving mine. In fact, I've decided that solar Garmin isn't for me. I'm gonna keep this one until the new one comes out. Oh, that thread is a "watch" as in keeping an eye out for my Dell laptop to finally die. Dumb thread.
*edit, forgot which thread I was in.
I get around 500 miles per pair in my Ons. For running shoes that’s considered pretty good@volfanbill
By the way, I don't know how long these shoes will last but other than that I love them. I went ahead and ordered a pair of the Cloudstratus. I think they'll be even better and I'm gonna wear those just for walking/running and these as casual shoes.
I’ll say this, a friend was saying he wanted shoes for his walks and whatnot as he was trying to get in shape. He was interested in Altras, which I’ve also ran in. The reason he was interested was they have an very wide toe box. He got them, then complained that they fell apart after like six weeks. He showed me the picture and he was wearing them as work shoes (Redbox, doing maintenance on their machines) and he was sliding around all over the place and rubbed the top the of toe box (thin cloth) through. Despite me explaining to him they weren’t designed for that kind of wear and tear and he wanted to be all mayud that designed for running shoes didn’t hold up that well. Despite the fact you could see almost zero wear on the treads. Some comments I read mentioned they were poorly made that's why I said what I did. These look very well made but you never know.
Oh I agree, I always consider things like that when I read reviews, but sometimes reviews can prove to be very valuable.I’ll say this, a friend was saying he wanted shoes for his walks and whatnot as he was trying to get in shape. Long story short: you bought running specialty shoes. That’s what they’re made for. And that’s all they’re made for.
Good all around shoes, running, walking, workouts in the gym. Need 9 - 9.5 and WIDE. I will take your suggestions. $$ not really an object.I’ll say this, a friend was saying he wanted shoes for his walks and whatnot as he was trying to get in shape.
